I have found a solution to this problem. Download the sound files from this site and replace in Simobjects/Airplanes/MAAM-SIM DC-3 Cargo and others you want to use http://www.douglasdc3.com/fs2004/fs2004.htmgood luck

I have exactly the same problem .... after the FSX conversion I get engine sounds in spotview but none in cockpit view .... I tried the the stereo patch available from DC# Airways and I now get engine sounds in cockpit view but no sounds in spotview ..... maybe a fix available in the sound cfg ??? This is valid for all DC3 R4D and C47 Microsoft or MAAM

Hi everyone, I will be installing a double boot system on my new rig , Windows 7 with FSX on one HDD and for the second HDD FS2004 and I need advice on what operating system to use WinXP SP3, Vista 64or Windows 7. I would appreciate from experts what is the best way to go

I am receiving my new computer and wondering if I should install FSX with SP2 or Acceleration Pack ? What are the advantages and turn-offs off both. I will be running PMDG products also VRS Superbug when available in FSX with complex sceneries.ThanksLuc Vanasse

ok for those interested I solved my problem!!! I remove FSX service pack 2 and reinstalled it and everything is back to normal. Seems that the PMD MD-11 as to be installed prior to SP2 being installed......Good LuckLuc

I have just purchased and installed the PMDG MD-11 FSX. I am running Windows XP Pro SP3 and my computer specs are Q6600 4GB Ram Nvdia 8800 GTS. I have absolutly no problems with FSX, frame rates are always above 30. The problem is that my MD-11 as no engines ( 3 of them) when looking in spot view from the front and no elevators nor gears. All other add-ons are working fine.Any help ?TKSLuc Vanasse

Problem solved... I re-downloaded the navdata using the base installer from my PSS Airbus pro (Airac 0708), all worked fine at that point.I then re-downloaded the Navigraph Airac 0709 and installed it, the problem did not reappear so the coclusion is that the initial Airac 0709 from Navigraph was corrupted.Thank youLuc Vanasse

I need help! today I started getting a NOT IN DATABASE message when inserting vor points in my routing and also when going to DATA/NAVAID section of the FMC. I have gone over the forum with the serach option and tried different solutions without success ( reloading navdata, starting in default flight, deleting the navdata folder in FS9 and recreating it0 . I get the same messages using my Boeing 777 and all my Airbus.Any ideas?ThanksLuc Vanasse

Every time I attempt to cross the ocean with FS9 real weather ON as I get to 30 West the weather updates to North America or Europe , I guess, and the aircraft goes into a steep climb or dive depending on weather update difference and falls out of the sky !!! anybody have a solution besides flying with weather turned off ?
