Does anyone have the cdu2?

Hey all im up and running cdu2 installed Linda and com activated now what, is there a setup guide am i supposed to pop out the instrument window resize etc. Any advise or where i can find, i googled so much and cant find one person setting it up Thank you

Ok thank you, i can confirm they are missing. I did use the maintenance page to install the module, i also tried to overwrite what was there, however the evt files are not installing via linda maintenance page

Thank you i'll look into it. Quick question the 3 event files for the fbw module should be in the root fsuipc folder, is that correct?

Hi so to be exact i have 1418 lvars I sent you the logs is there anything else i need to do for the fbw module?

I am on latest registered version May 30 7.3.6 Also its FBW not fenix Any other recommendation?

I have finally resolved most of my isuues, lots of trial and error after approx 6 hours worth. I am however dealing with an issue on mcp1, unable to turn hdg spd and alt, nothing changes in cockpit. Would the mcp2 work around work for latest module of FBW latest fsuipc and linda. If understand correctly the confif file of mcp2 would work on mcp1 for complex airxraft? My default aircraft work,this is the first time i connect to Linda. Looking forward to flights with my old equipment i never used in msfs Thank you Lvars showing 1500 in tracer if it matters Wasm enabled No errors in linda unless i turn the knobs

Hey all does anyone know if ineed a seperate wasm module, its enabled but linda shows ready for a few seconds then goes to wait. Fbw a320 Latest builds

Ok i made progress linda and fsuipc is up and running now once in the sim i get error in linda saying not synced. I have 2 questions am i supposed to create a new module to get a default aircraft going in linda, as it says wait and orange highlighting default aircraft? 2.once i resolved my default aircraft, id like to install FBW 320, it seems i can install it vua the maitenance page and point linda to the proper module. Unless im not understanding this part. I did observe in fsuipc that wasm is disabled by default, i read somewhere it is needed for fbw in order to get the proper lvar and hvar, is this correct? Is this a setting i should enable for FBW? So far i think im doing well and Linda has a nice layout. Its user friendly, im trying to absorb as much as i can to learn it quickly. Thanks again, if anyone can shed some light on this it is greatly appreciated.

Oh no im sorry im just stating its all over the place. Talk about multiple threads thats my problem there is instructions everywhere. I dont think its a disaster i just need solutions. I opened another thread so others with similiar setups can help while your away. I doubt they all followed my first post.

Hello I am trying my best to figure stuff out on my own, however its a mess, instructions are scattered. Im looking for a modules folder even if unhidden files are now showing. I need to install the aircraft module, sadly the instructions referance FSX, which either is the same folder or its outdated instructions. I then found another way via the maintenance in LINDA utility not even sure if this is the right way, but no instructions on how to import this way. For people that know what to do, this must be easy, but a newcomer Im lost its a real mess and have no clue how to proceed. I bought fsuipc I loaded msfs then FBW, then LINDA. All that happened is my sim crashed. MY mcp combo is on. Thats all I did so far, been a nightmare

Hey all i would like yo discuss mcp panel 1 and linda, has anyone got it to work. I understand there is limited support, but has anyone figured out how to get all knobs and screens to work with FBW airbus 320? Thank you

Hmm are you sure, i'll double check, but i was pretty sure it was VGA i bought it the day it came out. Ill see before i buy an adaptor. I'm still hoping mcp panel 1 works, as it sounds like limited support and i really want both screens to work and all rotary knobs. I used to use serial fp2 flawlessly. I wrote to vrinsight years ago they had no idea what Linda was. Now im exploring it and it replaces serial fp2 and has different user created modules created for different planes. Thats my understanding. For the cdu i had to drag it to the fmc which is essentially a touchscreen with buttons. Am i correct with anything im saying?

Thank you for the info, i will proceed with downloading and buying what i will need. For cdu 2 i need an adapter to convert vga to usb or hdmi. As for mcp combo panel i guess its the 1st one not backlit. Ill purchase FSUIPC as well. Hoping all this works out, thank you

Hey all i have the mcp combo pro as well as a CDU 2 vga connection, both from vrinsightthe last time i used this equipment was in FSX with a different module. So here i am now and at a total loss of what i need. Airplane i plan on flying is FBW Airbus on msfs2020, with the cdu and mcp combo pro. Ive read alot on the forums and various google searches,and im confused. I just need to get started.. can anyone point me in the right direction on what it is i need to be setup and use this hardware? Thank you

Hi Roger Thanks for the info it absolutely helps, i've been on the fence to migrate to p3d because of my equipment but time is flying and Id like to get simming again. I dont mind changing burds if need be. I'm just looking for that one airliner boeing or airbus that works with all my equipment. It definately only seems possible with LINDA. I personally enjoyed many years of lvld 767, and the vri software worked flawlessly for the mcp and cdu 2. I always had a few steps to do in order to get the cdu 2 to display correctly but managed to get fsx in full screen and cdu 2 displayed and worked really well. Guess im just looking for that winning combo to get everything up and running smoothly, if it exists! Thanks for the info.

What works with vrinsight? Leveld on fsx was flawless due to sdk but pmdg i really have no clue. So if i understand correctly in the meantime LINDA needs to be used to make it compatible? Is there an aircraft airliner that does work in 64 bit p3d v4 with vrinsight equipment? I spent lots of money otherwise ill need to stick with FSX.

Thanks Scott, i won't alter any settings for nor run the wx engine and just use opus. The reason i mention asky is because at some point i had it and not sure how i uninstalled it, and if i restored the original textures including the fog fix and haze. Which btw i never noticed a difference.

So unlike activesky there is no fog or haze or mist effects which would interfere with opus. I thought i heard of a redesigned effect when disabling say fog layer in activesky anyway? Did rex not alter any of those ?

Is there anything to do besides disabling rex wx engine when migrating to opus, example is there a setting for haze or fog effect that should not be active when using opus, i know asky uses a haze and fog effect. But cant find anything within rex textures that should be undone prior to using opus, what did you do in rex?

I'm pretty sure i heard cabin announcements pre takeoff but maybe i was to busy in other phases of flight and didn't hear them, anyways i'll up the volume a bit more and see.And glad to hear that possibly some responses from pre flight, don't come through the headset!

My FO is working well, but as for cabin announcements, i made sure to turn up the volume, but am wondering if they make announcements in most phases of flight. I also have AES and fspassengers. I only hear fs2crew cabin at begining of flight like while taxing???I'm guessing i'll let fspassengers handle doors, because of AES and the timing i have to shut doors while pax are boarding. What do you think?And lastly when i click preflight and speak commands, i don't hear them in headset example the engineer, only the FO, is this normal?
