I will look carefully on my next flight i've been so busy lately sorry for the delay, i may have seen it wrong it possibly could be fl 410 if that is the case this has to do with weight and balance right? Does it mean that this is the maximim flight level my aircraft can fly with the fuel, pax and cargo boarded. Is for fuel burn purposes?Thanks guys!

It seems i always have a trip flight level usually fl 440 and then i manually put in example fl 330 but under the TRIP the pre defined f level still shows an odd flight level like 440. Can anyone explain this i did read the manual and looked at tutorials but believe it or not there is nothing under trip its an empty field everywhere i look. But yet in my aircraft it a appears with a weird high altitude that i wont be flying??Anyone?

Is there any other reason to not have the app button clickable? what else can cause the problem, can it be I had something else clicked or overshooting the glideslope?

Ok thanks I'll fly the same approach again and i'll use the old airac cycle that worked for me last time, btw does the sid star have to match the airac monthly cycle?

Can it be something I may be doing wrong or does this really sound like a serious problem with installation or something? Without noone answering I really feel like an idiot but i've done several more ILS approaches and I still have the same problem.

Hi guys once again i update the airac and sid/star and the 1st flight always gives me this problem i was perfectly lined up to intercept RWY 14L and my APP switch was on CMD A & B were activated FREQ was correct on both navs but somehow when at the outer marker the app disengaged itself along with SPD and ALT, result visual at the last second thankfully all went well but I was really frustrated that the Ils did not work. Any suggestions??

Ok thanks for your help i'll overwrite and keep the extra files and see what the next cycle brings me, then I'll decide next time if i should wipe it all out and just put in the new cycle. I do have a backup so I will eventually check which airports it is that were extra from past cycles. Btw the 'read me first' says delete everything in the folder and 'updated terminal procedures' simply says to overwrite everything there which is how i found the extras from the old cycle.

So basically do you delete everything in that folder and then add the new sid star cycle or do you overwrite whats there which means it keeps the extra files??

I have more files in my old one than my new sid/star cycle of/for this months cycle 0412.Can anyone clarify this for me there is a difference of about 12 files less in this month???

Hi fellow pilots, I wanted to know if creating a flight plan through fs build with a sid star departure and approach and loading this flight plan within fs9 make the atc direct me the proper headings to fly these types of approaches. I understand its limited to a certain degree but an fs9 plan is perfectly directed and followed by the fmc and so is an fsbuild plan but what about sid star????P.S. About KMIA, the fmc gives me an error about a rwy at Miami intl I forget which runway, what is causing this error? I do have the latest Airac cycle and Sid/Star dated (0411)

Do i need to worry about any other stray file and if yes where can it be? I need to reinstall all my liveries?

Btw it only happens when a route/flt pln is selected and put in co route at this point the errors appear on top and not in the scratchpad, anyone?

But why do all my errors appear there they are not readable and when your busy up there the last thing you want to do is squint to figure out what it says.

Well i don't have a route i just landed and got the error so i can show you where the writing appears over the other, the situation is no route and i clicked LNAV so the error can come up. As far as POS shift its's a page i found with not much writing, so i can make my example clear i believe its page 3 of POS INIT section.

PROBLEM SOLVED i've updated the airac file and now everything matches, i've completed my whole 1st flight!!!!!!!!

Hi i don't get in the scratch pad i get it at the top of the page where the name is making it hard to read due to the fact i have writing over writing.

Hi Jim just curious to why draw and sight at 60mi should this be increased on more powerful systems or is it better to leave at 60mi regardless of system to make active weather more realistic?p.s. i've been battling with the best setting for this and have yet to get one this may be it!!!Thanks!
