  1. Hey guys!!!Whenver I am at the gate or in the middle of a flight and suddenly I change times from day to night or from night to another time in night in the PMDG, the main panel goes crazy. The gauges display erroneous things like for example the swith for the Autobrake is set to off and after the refresh it show RTO when it really isn't engaged. The altitude, headings and everything in the MCP is just not displayed unless I click again over it. Any other switch for the gear, or any other knob it reappears in the opposite position.Very strange behavior. I tried reinstalling the sim and nothing changed, even did a format of the machine. There is something when FS2004 displays the "Loading Scenery" status that messes the panel and appears that all the gauges have changed position when they are in their correct position.Very disturbing while in the middle of the flight.Any fixes, or suggestions? Thanks much!!
  2. Problem solved thanks to the update! Thanks much guys!Teo
  3. Hey guys!Everytime I close my FS2004 in whatever screen, I get an error from the file pmdgoptions.dll that caused a general failure on FS9.exe.I own both the 737NG and the 747 and I haven't been able to solve it.It is really annoying to have FS2004 just crash everytime you want to close it.I did a fresh install of FS2004 and my Windows and still the problem prevails.Any suggestions? Thanks,Teo
  4. Hey guys!!!I don't know if you have seen this issue before. It happens to me anytime I am flying the 737NG at night. Whenever FS2004 does a "Loading scenery" at night, when it comes back to the 737NG panel, the AP numbers are gone and the switches and gauges are all messed up.It happens all the time and only when flying at night.I have a:P4, 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 128MB Nvidia video card, 80GB HDD, CH Virtual Pilot, CH Throttle quadrant and Pedals.Installed in FS2004 I have Activesky 2004, PMDG, LevelD, and some other aircrafts. The problem only happens with the PMDG aircraft at night. The redundant heading indicator, altimeter and other gauges are blank. Very weird phenomenon.Any suggestions?I tried reinstalling FS2004 and did no difference.Teo
  5. Jason,Thanks much for trying to help me out.I really appreciate everything.Problem 1:The problem of the mixture 1 not working is in every aircraft, from the Baron, to Aeroworx King Air to pretty much any multiengine aircraft. I checked the keys and they are all fine. I am telling you that I can't even move it with the mouse, which should be normal even if the keys or joystick don't work. There is something very weird there.Problem 2:I will try to lower my display settings to see if there is some difference. It's just very annoying that at some airports this happens. Not all of them, just some, mainly the ones that are add-ons.Regards,Teo
  6. Problem 1:I can't use any control unit at all. Not even with the mouse I can move it to idle. With Mixture #2 everything is fine. I can move it with the mouse, ch throttle or whatever I please. For some reason that mixture 1 doesn't work at all, just if I do a E 1 and 2 and then use the keyboard CTRL SHIFT F2 and F3 to control both. Other than that, the Mixture 1 is dead to both mouse and joystick.Problem 2:I don't have World Airports scenery installed. I use Simflyers.net scenery as well as FlyTampa and the like. No scenery packages except for Mexico and others like that.Hope this helps. I am thinking on reformatting the computer but I have so much stuff it will take me a looong time to get it back up and running and I am concerned that it might not fix the problem.Regards,Teo
  7. Hey guys!!I have been a user of FS2004 for a longgg time.I own the PMDG, LevelD and a lot of exciting sceneries from Simflyers.net, Flytampa, etc. There are two issues that are bothering me that I can't find a solution at all so I can fix the problems. When I installed FS2004, I chose to install everything, not for it to run from the CD.Now I have two problems that are becoming a terrible annoyance due to the fact that I can't fix them at all.Problem 1Aircraft Mixture #1 on a multiengine aircraft doesn't work.No matter how much I try to pull it down with the mouse or even joystick it doesn't work. I have tried finding answers everywhere and I can't seem to find it.Any of you guys have seen this issue? If so what is the best solution to fixing this? I really don't want to reinstall everything since my FS2004 is full with sceneries, aircraft, programs that will take a long time to reinstall since my library is so big.Is there a way to overwrite the files for that so it can work? Also another issue.Everytime I fly into a new scenery or airport I installed, FS9 pauses for like 30 seconds (I guesss it's loading scenery or something) but it just takes toooo long. I have a P4, 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 128MB NVidia Geforce3 video card and it still takes forever to load. It's annoying cause sometimes I am in the middle of an approach and the sim just stops for like 40 seconds without movement.Any suggestions on what I can do to solve this type of issues? Please let me know the answer to any of those questions if you can help. I will be of great help to me :(.Thanks muchTeo
  8. Cool, I disabled "Render to texture" inside display and that seemed to take care of the problem.Another issue I am having if you can help is that no matter how powerful my computer is, FS2004's framerate is still not 100% smooth. Is there a way to tweak FS2004 so it runs smooth. Does it make a difference if I move the "Target Framerate" up a bit?I use FS2004 with Squawkbox 3, Active Sky and also FS Real Time to synchronize real time with FS2004 every few mins.I only use my computer for FS2004, nothing else. It's a P4, 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 80GB disc, 128MB Video and a 17 inch monitor.I'm just looking for a way to give FS2004 all the priority it needs for flight and for it to run smoothly.Let me know if you can help. Thanks much,Teo
  9. I have ActiveSky 2004. Maybe there might be something making conflict. I will try disabling the Render to Texture to see if it makes a difference.Regards,Teo
  10. Hey guys!! I don't know if you've heard of this before but everytime I have my 737-700 or 800 parked at the airport and turn on the panel light at night, the panel flickers completely every 10 seconds. It's very annoying and I was wondering if there is a fix for this. When I am flying at night I usually don't get that much flickering but when I am on the ground the panel flickers every few seconds. Please let me know if there is a fix for this. I have the latest video driver for my 128MB ATI RADEON card. Thanks much in advance,Teo
  11. Hey guys!!I bought a machine just for FS2004.It's a P4 2.4GHz, 1GB RAM, 128 ATI Video, 80GB HDD and a good 17 inch monitor. I own the CH Virtual Pilot Pro as well as the Pro Pedals.I was wondering what is the best way to run FS2004 smooth on the machine since I've done a couple of flights and sometimes the simulator slows down a bit. Is there a way to adjust windows so the FS9 performes optimally?I use it along with Squawkbox 3, Active Sky 2004 and FS Time to sincronize FS2004 time with real time. Any suggestions on how to improve this. Now I run the simulator in windows mode, but do you think running it on Full Screen will make a difference?Any help is greatly appreciated!Teo
  12. Hi!!I am using the 737-700 in 2D view and the instrument panel is small. I can't even see the altimeter setting. I have the resolution set to 1024 X 860 and my monitor is 17".Is there something I am doing wrong? Also is there a way to set wing views from the plane so that when I hit for example, CTRL 4 or something like that it shows me the wing views? Thanks much in advance,Teo
