  1. Have you tried using My Traffic without VoxATC? Do the jetways dock then?
  2. Actually you can edit the WOAI aircraft.cfg files to have docking points. When I don't use VoxATC, the AI traffic automatically has the jetways dock with the aircraft. But when I use VoxATC traffic, the same jetways no longer dock with the aircraft. Also, some packages like Ultimate Traffic come with the planes automatically configured to have jetways dock with them. This spares a person the time going through the aircraft config files by hand. So, yes, jetways do dock with AI aircraft.
  3. All, I recently purchased VoxATC after the 7 day trial and am enjoying it; however, I noticed that the jetways at the airports no longer dock with AI aircraft. Is this a limitation of the software or a setting I've missed? Thanks, Joshua
  4. All, Due to the age of my computer (6+ years), I still do a lot of airliner flying in FS9. I have the venerable PMDG 737NG package and would like to know if MCE works with it. I saw in the manual that I should copy the .ini file into the PMDG folder, but my co-pilot doesn't seem to be able to read the instruments. Am I missing something or is this just a fact of life using FS9 and PMDG 737NG with MCE? Any and all help would be appreciated! Thanks, Joshua
  5. No worries. It's designed to work specifically with ORBX scenery. So, go ahead, install, and enjoy!Joshua
  6. James,I think you really are on to something here. Yes, a lot of experienced flight sim enthusiasts probably are not going to get a lot out of Flight initially. I was on the Beta and missed having AI traffic, ATC, etc. But, my five and seven year old kids were all over it and before I knew it we were having discussions about Bernoulli's principle. So Flight is pretty, runs great on my four year old rig, and engages my children and me in scientific discussions about aviation. Since I am an engineer and mathematician, this thrills me!Another thing about Flight that I thought was interesting was that I could not turn off crashes like I can in FSX. My kids would just "mow" the terrain in FSX with abandon and then Flight came and they started asking why the plane crashed. Mind you, I can turn off that feature in FSX as well, but I don't have that choice in Flight -- crashes are on all the time. Hence, you have to learn at least a little about flying a plane. Plus, it's pretty fun to hear chickens go nuts in some of the cargo runs. I'll be keeping an eye on this to see how it develops. Sincerely,Joshua
  7. Walt,Sorry for my mistake (ALT-F4). You should try CTRL-F4. This is the default key for setting Prop RPM to High. I had this problem once and it occurred when I went from a small GA addon plane to the default C172. I set the props low on my stick and it somehow got stuck that way when I loaded the C172. Holger actually gave me the tip to try CTRL-F4 years ago and it worked for me. Here's hoping it works for you.Take care,Joshua
  8. Mike,Just to let you know I am working on high-resolution aprons, taxiways and runways now that I have new source imagery. The thing is that I'm using KBWI as my place to learn things about scenery design so it takes me awhile to get things right and out the door. Anyway, I hope to be releasing a final KBWI V3.0 by August 2010 with new high-res taxiways, runways, and aprons and custom lights (taxi lights, etc). Thanks for taking a look though and I hope we can impress you a little more in a few months.Sincerely,Joshua
  9. I'll throw in my two cents: try Alt-F4 and then F4. Joshua
  10. Mike,Here are those shots I promised you. Just to let you know, we have all five seasons represented as well as night textures.Take care,JoshuaOverhead view of KBWI in SummerOverhead view of KBWI in Hard WinterDelta Gates at KBWISouthwest Gates at KBWI
  11. Gwillmot,I'm so glad to see everything is working properly now. For those interested, there are two AFCAD files for KBWI. The first is AF2_KBWI.bgl and it is placed in the KBWI\Scenery folder. This is the standard AFCAD that places runways, taxiways, etc. A second AFCAD is called kbwisign.bgl and is also in the KBWI\scenery folder. This places all the taxi- and runway signs around the airport since the original signs were not aligned with the photoscenery. I hope you enjoy the updates and let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.Sincerely,Joshua
  12. Gwillmot,I'm one of the developers for KBWI and that is definitely not our AFCAD file. From the information you sent, I can only think that KBWI is lower in the scenery list than the "Addon Scenery" directory. That would cause any KBWI AFCAD file in that folder to take precedence over the one in the KBWI folder. Or, you have KBWI lower than the original AFCAD file in the NAME directory. When I get home tonight I will post the filename for our AFCAD file so we can identify where it is on your system and see if we can fix this for you. I think the file is AF_KBWI.bgl, but I need to check. Feel free to message me as well using the AVSIM PM system or simply write here in the forum. I'll post again tonight with that info for you. Thanks,Joshua
  13. Airbus,My apologies for not including this in the original instructions, you will need to remove the file "KBWI Landclass.bgl" from the KBWI\scenery folder. You could also just rename it to .old or something else so that it will not load. What you are seeing is the landclass file take priority over Megascenery and causing the conflict. I will make sure to upload a KBWI V2.1 Megascenery to the library sometime in the next few days that takes care of all of these things. All, sorry for not getting some pics on here. I came home that night from work to quickly realize my wife was going to give birth to our newest son that same evening. So, I haven't forgotten you all, I'm just sleep deprived and very slow. Thanks,Joshua
  14. Thanks everyone for the kind words. Gus and Mark, the current Megascenery patch that is in the library (KBWI Patch for MegaScenery Mid-Atlantic Volume 5) works with KBWI V2.1. You can just reapply the patch after you install KBWI V2.1. That way you will still enjoy the integration into MegaScenery, but have the new AFCAD and lower fps trees. If you have any problems, just post them back here or send me a message using the AVSIM message system. Hopefully, it'll be smooth flying for you.Mike, I'd be happy to post a few shots once I get home tonight. Anything in particular that you would like to see?Gus, unfortunately our website is now offline. Matt and I started our respective families soon after we released the original KBWI in 2005. By 2007 our real life responsibilities took precedent over maintaining the website. I apologize for leaving the foxtrotsierra.org website address in the readme.txt. It was just an oversight on my part. However, I am thinking of opening up a new website or at least setting up a special gmail account to answer questions concerning KBWI. I'm checking in on this thread and AVSIM about twice a day; so, if you have any more questions or corrections, just post them here. Finally, I just checked and KBWI V2.1 is posted now in the library. Take care,Joshua
