there are not many good photos of captured Bf109 - so there is a bit of guesswork and I made it to look a bit more like a regular Sqn fighter rather than a one of model.

P3D is sold only to their intended costumers - and you can only buy it for non-gaming uses, now, what not being used as a game constitutes, that has never been defined. we have also to remember who owns the license for P3D, not exactly a company many would like to become enemies with. The reason for the delay can be attributed to nothing more than lawyers making sure that every detail is right.

Aerosoft did not buy it.

if it were an FSX or in the flight sim business developer, we would all know by now, we know from the original news that he outbid others, the others being a group of FSX developers, if you have a group of developers, this means that the bid was less than $10m, which gives something like $10-30m as the price paid, although I heard that MS asked an stratospheric sum for the franchise a few years ago, much more that $30m. The owner bough an outdated code, meaning he will need to set up a team in order to bring it up to something like were P3D is, that rules out some Sheik from Arabia who could not care less for software development. The best bet is someone connected to the Aviation business and familiar with code development in order to be able to make his investment worthy.

Whomever bought this, did not buy it not to make money out of it. it makes sense to buy the whole package , considering the fact that he outbid all the others, either we have someone that has philantrophy in mind or someone that saw a great opportunity to recoup his investment and then make a handsome profit.

P3D is not in any way connected to MS anymore - it is an independent product and anything that follows FSX will compete with it, what matters now is how much money the new owner will want to make out of his investment and to what extent he is tied to MS distribuition, this new development will split the community and 3rd party developers in the same way that FSX and FS2004 did.

Until then - it is not playable with P3D, the errors I am getting are constant.

if Opus is run BEFORE P3Dv2 it will run OK every time, it has to load always before P3D.

for those that found it difficult to make , I made an exe.xml to load OPUS at FSX startup http://www.lockonfiles.com/files/file/2700-fsx-aicarriers-2-opusfsx-load-at-startup/ simple copy and paste to install.

updated and it is back to normal - I noticed that FSX and P3D react the same way if one is run after the other. Going to test it a lot more this weekend, I am happy that Opus is working OK now.
