>And some more things found... Mostly with the EICAS:>>- Fuel Temp, issue remains>- Brake Temp, always zero>- Gear Doors, ALWAYS closed, regardless of landing gear being>extended - heh, I can stand on the ground at a bay and EICAS>will show my gear doors as closed. Rather funny that.>- All doors closed (as indicated in EICAS), yet, I have a>alert, DOORS ENTRY L, indicating that the doors are open. >Now, Upper CRT says the doors are open, EICAS indicates doors>are closed. Flight Model in spot view, shows doors are>closed>- TCAS also has planes constantly appearing / disappearing.>>My list is getting bigger and bigger now - only since I>installed the service update.... Perhaps it's time to>re-install and scrap the update all together. It's causing>more problems than what it's worth.None of those things stop you flying so why scrap the update?

New Overspeed Problems
>Just a remark about disconnects. I know how the autothrottle>works on the real b747 - but my comment is about seeing the>Queen at cruise with VNAV engaged and the A/T PROPERLY>engaged. On a couple of occassions, just switching to FSNAV>caused the A/T to disengage, engine sound dying before>spooling up, and the max alt FLzzz appearing on the FMC. The>same thing sometimes happens when going out of full screen to>the desktop - on returning the a/t has disengaged but remains>armed)(soft disconnect). I just wanted to point out that I>know how the a/t systems works - so it seems there is a minor>problem when the full screen sim is interupted. > I had this problem after applying the 1.1 upgrade.I bit the bullet and completely uninstalled the 747, removed all related files (including those found with a Windows search) and cleaned the registry. After reinstalling the base package and then the 1.1 update everything has been fine except for some very minor quibbles.-- Alan White

>Since I installed the 1.10 Update, my Fuel Temp and TAT Temp>is always the same? Previously, my feul temp was always>arround 6 degrees and TAT varied (obviously). Now, they both>are constantly the same, at TAT value... ???I too am getting that.-- Alan White
