  1. >Hi,>>So what problem is this thread still about? Installation or>planes?>>Thanks,>Jim>>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpg>http://www.hifisim.com/I don't quite get your question... Haven't you read through this thread...???!It's about "OKAY: The button called "Start FS" (at the right side of the help button) - is that meant to function. At present it's dead -greyed out - no response.".....Hope this brings you back on track again!Carl
  2. OK,Aircraft is back and with the updated aircraft.cfg.This is, however, a too intricate process in order to get the aircraft performance data updated, for all those cases where something either is missing or is wrong. The aircraft I have mentioned was only one example:A MD11 had no max seating stated iin the aircraft.cfg. Hence only 8 passengers were boarding. ( A typical flight that probably would have been cancelled) . I then had to edit the cfg-file. There are more aircrafts with the same problem as the -General-section in the aircraft.cfg-files seldom have the max seating data stated.Meaning: Each time we experience trhis we have to go into the application dataHiFiAirplanesFSversion and delete all the aircrafts and wait for x-pax to reload all in order to re-can the folder mentioned. This in addition to edit the aircraft. cfg. Not many of your customers are very familiar with these parts of the sim I assume.I'm not happy with this and neither should you.X-pax obviously suffer from a lack of capability to update or reload data.I appreciate that you respond so quickly to the issues brought up here at the forum and I think all of us do so. But I'm afraid your new program will cause many more issues to come up......Well, I stop my kind of complaining at this point, it's Christmas time and I think I will put the X-pax to rest a couple of days and join the peaceful days to come. I wish you also some merry Christmas days - you are obviously nice guys.;-)I will, however, booohhh come back to you later on :-spacecraft Best to you allCarl
  3. OK, then I think I've got it;For those freeware scenery addons I have, for which a certain com-frequency setting is required to make the jetways move, I (of course) have to use the two boxes as mentioned to tell x-pax to play along with the animations.Easy, I see that now, but it would have been nice, however, to have such things explained in the documentation.I'm sure you've allready got that point of view.....:-smile12 Carl
  4. >Hi,>>Have you installed out hitfix?>>Thanks,>Jim>>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpg>http://www.hifisim.com/Yes I have and the aircraft is still goneCarl
  5. Sorry, mixed the threads; The answer here should be:Installing the hotfix didn't fix the problemCarl
  6. >Hi,>>Please install our hotfix and see.>>Thanks,>Jim>>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpg>http://www.hifisim.com/I have now installed the hotfix. The aircraft is still gone !Carl
  7. >Hi,>>Do you use a COM radio to activate these jetways?>>Thanks,>Jim>>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpg>http://www.hifisim.com/No,Carl
  8. >Hi,>>Is the correct FS version chosen?>>Jim>>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-community-sigbanner.jpg>http://www.hifisim.com/Yes,Carl
  9. >Those are to select which radio and to set the frequency on>that radio if your FS9 airport has moving jetways. This is>only available for FS9 as FSX jetways are active.>>Thanks>Carl Hackman>http://www.hifisim.com>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpgWhere do you have documentation on this as I need to have it explained more specifically to fully understand what to do. I have a lot of AES-enhancements airports which then have moving jetways. What am I going to do and why....?Carl
  10. >Remove the aircraft from the application>dataHiFiAirplanesFSversion and XPax will reimport from the>new config.>>Thanks>Carl Hackman>http://www.hifisim.com>http://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-dev-sigbanner.jpgI removed one of the aircrafts that I had edited. When re-starting x-pax the aircraft is gone !Carl
  11. No, I'm not on a wide FS-system - I only use one single computer for FS.Carl
  12. In the Options menue there is two boxes to enter data. One: " Select Radio"Two: " Enter Frequency "Documentation does not tell anythiong about those two.In the documentation the boxes are also not shown at all.Hmmmmm !??Carl
  13. The aircraft performance data is obviously taken from the respective aircraft.cfg-files. and from different sections. Some of the aircraft.cfg files haven't sorted the data in a proper way, hence x-pax show incorrect data if any data at all.I have tried to edit some of the aircraft.cfg files to correct the wrong data. X-pax does not respond to that, even if I close the x-pax and reopen it.Why is that ?I want to see the correct aircraft performance data in x-pax for which ever aircraft I choose to use.Carl
  14. I have got rid of the error message by doing as you told. Yet I haven't made a flight with x-pax as there are still so many questions and problems. I put one along with this thread and start new threads with the others as long as I think it's worth using my time on making the program work.OKAY: The button called "Start FS" (at the right side of the help button) - is that meant to function. At present it's dead -greyed out - no response.Carl
  15. I cannot manage to install x-pax for FS2004. I get this message after clicking the X-pax desktop icon:- FSX installation path read error......... Navigate to your Flightsimulator X Folder in the next screen. (see documentation section 'Using X Elemantal' for details) -I do not have FSX installed. I have FS2004 istalled.I have registerd version of FSUIPC ( currently version 3.768 )Thanks for assistance, Carl
