Inibuilds  have a good rep for aircraft , just because they don't take years like a certain other developer does not mean it will be bad quality.

Yes, and I didn't say that. But the more aircraft they develop concurrently, the less resources can be spent on each individual one. And that can't be good for quality, can it?

Right now, iniBuilds are developing the A220, A320, BelugaXL (A330), A350, A380 and A400M. Plus supporting the A300/A310. That seems like way too much to take on, even for a big team.

PMDG isn't going to make a whole new cockpit for their MAX. They will just reuse the current 737 NG cockpit, but of course, modify it for the MAX.  I don't see what the point in making a new cockpit is for, as long as the cockpit is accurate for the MAX.  The PMDG 737 NG cockpit is fine and most people say it is fine as well.

Well, they did say they were using a brand new MAX as a reference for the cockpit modeling, and that would be reflected in the final product. On the other hand... PMDG are the masters of recycling. It will be interesting for sure how it turns out to be.

Why would that be strange?  It's the obvious thing to do.  Some people might well only commit funds to one or the other.

    Exactly my point.

They haven't shared any more details than they already did ages ago.  They said a long time ago the MAX was coming out in-between the 777 variants, or around them.  Nothing has changed.

They said it was coming at some point, but withheld more details as recent as April 2022:

[08APR22] PMDG 737 for MSFS Developer Update - Entering the Home Stretch - PMDG Simulations

"The initial release phase is focused on the Next Generation series and we are not yet publishing any information about MAX."

In November 2023 the plan was still "to drop it ouf nowhere", Robert's exact words:

JT welcomes PMDG and The Pilot Club (youtube.com)

Only recently, and probably in response to the iFly previews, did PMDG say it was coming in between the 777 release cycle.

T2G is now the only known developer working on LFPG. I'd really like to see a higher quality dev work on LFPG, as I'm not a fan of his work since his return from hiatus.

Maybe FranceVFR and JetStream Designs could partner up if it's too much to tackle for one developer, they're the best adress for French sceneries.

Once the A319 and A321 are released by Fenix, I wonder what FSLabs will do. If I were FSLabs, I would have given up doing an A320/A319/A321 for MSFS a long time ago, when there was news of Fenix's A320.  FSLabs' best choice is to focus on their A330 and Concorde for MSFS. And between the A330 and Concorde, I would probably get the A330 out first for MSFS, because no other company is doing a high fidelity Concorde. But if somebody beats FSLabs in MSFS with a high fidelity A330, that's just more lost sales for FSLabs.

    Simple... NEO variants. Especially A321.

I'll be completely un-bias as I can here. I personally have never seen the benefit of terminal interiors. Maybe it's the old school simmer in me, but I've always felt this was a waste. With that said, Richmond doesn't have much to look at inside.

I don‘t get it either. If you want to see how it looks inside, just head over to the nearest YouTube video.
