"we have a very busy testing season ahead for both the 737 fleets and the 777"
So... I'm just gonna ask... would that mean they are testing the MAX?

2024 will be the year it seems...

Wish it was Block 2 they had released... could really work with an IAE powered A320 for the holidays. Agree on the Discord issue, though. (Who would name a site like that?)

I doubt PMDG will release anything before Christmas. With most everyone being home and off from work, this would likely create a lot of demand for support around the holidays, and who would want to deal with that? I do expect a few nice previews, though.

Not that I‘m aware of, no.

Curiously this only happens with Business jets. Haven't seen a commercial airliner (or GA aircraft for that matter) with a pink (or missing) livery. I am on the latest versions of either tool, all updates installed. Any idea how to grace the Gulfstreams, Global Expresses etc. with their proper colors? Thanks.

It will be much more interesting to hear what the voices sound like over the radio.

The pics look incredibly detailed, yet I agree with @Maxis point. IniBuilds do very pretty, but aren't so hot on performance.
One of my favorite liveries of all time 😅

I wonder if that's that for 2023 from them...

Where are the pebbles, though?

So did I, best purchase ever. Don't regret spending that money at all. It just ploughs through everything...

Crazy to think how close it is at this point...

Just now, Bobsk8 said:Well I sujppose you can do the same thing with the PMDG EFB. You can either put in the OFP weight, or actual weight, or type in any weight.
As it should be. But that doesn‘t seem to be the case at present.

17 minutes ago, Bobsk8 said:Question, in real life would takeoff calculation be done before the aircraft was full loaded?
It would be done with planned figures and confirmed (or updated if necessary) once the final loadsheet arrives.
Pilots may also input higher weights to be on the safe side. -
1 hour ago, threegreen said:What I've noticed is the takeoff calculator doesn't use the weight as submitted in the left side weight field but uses the current aircraft weight for the output in the box on the right, making it impossible to calculate takeoff performance during preflight for the OFP takeoff weight as long as the aircraft isn't fully loaded up (annoying if you use real time boarding). It should use whatever you put into the weight field. That has to be a bug.
It also says Vref instead of Vtgt in the landing calculator where it shows approach speed (Vref plus wind additive).
Please bear with them, it only took them 18 months to develop…

Considering the features and user interface (what would Michelangelo say?) of this tablet, it is underwhelming at best... if it took them 18 months or so finish this then I'm seriously concerned about their engineering prowess. I hope they manage to come up with a decent 777.

You mean the guy who keeps comparing himself to Greek and Roman demigods has trouble admitting when he‘s wrong? 😂

1 hour ago, micstatic said:I think it's the best also. It will get even better as the EFB will add live navigraph charts real soon. Not to mention there is the company (Think Immersive audio?) that is working on an updated sound package for it. Same company also just did p3d sounds for it.
For real? That would be amazing. Their soundpacks made all the difference in P3D.

This is great news. I really like the FBW A320, it is one of the best freeware planes of all time and in some parts superior to the Fenix. But there are still quite a few shortcomings (not a criticism of their work, of course!) that I expect will be addressed in a completely new built by Ini. And maybe they‘ll even add an A321 much like the A300 after the already released A310.

Who's ready for Block 2? 😀

I can see influencers using footage from that aircraft to pretend they‘re flying First Class 😂
