Hi Brian,No, still on 32 bits. I like RealATIS as you can make an ATIS be heard on a navaid and also have up to 10 airfields on a group broadcast like a Volmet but if I can't use it with PMDG aircraft then I may have to ditch it unless someone comes up with an answer. Have submitted tickets or emails to both companies so I await any replies with fingers crossed. It's not the known dll problem as I can get the aircraft flyable if I ditch the RealATIS gauge.Hi Pete,Certainly the gauge. If I say no when it asks to be trusted then I get the PMDG stuff flyable again and no CTD. If I leave the guage in the gauge folder and "trust" it then any selection of a PMDG aircraft causes a CTD. Hi Folks,In the last couple of days I have purchased RealATIS FSX as that allows one to build a Volmet broadcast among other things.However when I went to take my JS4100 for a spin as soon as I selected the aircraft I got a crash to desktop, tried the B747-400 and again the same thing happened and finally the MD11, yep, same again.On playing around I took out of the RealATIS folder a file called ATISServer.exe. with that no longer there I was able to select and fly all my PMDG aircraft again.Now I'm not too sure why this happens. RealATIS is a gauge which resides in its own folder in the main gauges folder and you have the install the guage into every aircraft you want to use it with. So I tried removing the gauge from the PMDG aircraft, however again I got the crashes so its down to the ATISServer.exe in the subfolder as far as I can see but thats all I know.Searched around and not seen anyone reporting this preoblem before so now I'm "Baffled from Brighton!".Rgds Ron

Hi Folk'sTried entering a freq on the FMC of 117.90 and got an error message "Entry out of range", tried 117.95, same message. x( Entered a known VOR Ident for 117.90 and that was accepted. Tested lower and upper limits of the nav freq range and only 117.90 and 117.95 were rejected. I assume the FMC software needs a suitable kick in the resistors. :-)Cheers Ron

Hi James,I didnt bother with chkdsk as I just replaced the drive. My system has been fairly stable for the last year or so and the hard drive that failed has been in the previous set up I had so likely it was getting old.I do defrag and make other checks on a fairly regular basis and it happened while I was backing up my main drive so didnt lose anything either. All its done is cost me loads of time stuffing it all back as it was.Cheers Ron

Hi Folk'sI have had a number of problems with the MD-11 which required quite a few reinstalls although I can't blame PMDG for any of them. These include the DLL coruption, ILS off centre and to top it all my hard drive failed yesterday.I sent a request to support about reactivating my validation as I had run out of attemps. This was just about 24 hours ago.Can someone give me an idea how long this will take as I would like to get it sorted so I can then defrag my new drive and installations and I don't want to validate my WINXP again until I know all is OK.Thanks Ron

Hi,Made a number of ILS approaches to Gatwick Rwy 26L and so far no problems except that on touchdown I'm always off to the left with the ILS Loc needle also indicating I'm off centre.I even tried an approach from 20 miles out on the centreline before engaging the autolanding but again by the time I was coming to touchdown I was left of centreline and ILS confirming same. In the last 4 miles it made no attemp to recentre on the ILS.Is this a minor bug?Thanks Ron

Hi Folk'sBrought the MD-11 this morning but can't get it to run.Each time I tried changing aircraft I get a shutdown error which points to PMDG_MD11_ACS.dll so I took that out only to get another pointing to PMDG_MD11.dll. Again took that out and then aircraft loads but of course I get no gauges. Any suggestions please from PMDG as to a workaround.Running a systen with 4 gig ram, anthlon x64 dual 5200 CPU and my FSX is running a very stable version as never had any problems until today. Hi Folks,I'm concidering having a play to see if I can repaint a Realair Spitfire IX but looking at the repaint kit I have a couple of questions.In the repaint kit on the Spitfire IX there are no wheels in the RASSpitIX_Ext1_T.psd file although clearly on the same file in the texture folders they are there. Do I have to copy them from the XIV and if so how do I do that, I would be using Paint Shop Pro 7.Also I want a fresh repaint so would like to "correct" the faded roundels, I tried the replace function but it won't work so I presume the fade effects is done another way although it's not the opacity thats at 100 per cent.Any suggestions gratefully received.Thanks Ron

Hi Paul,You would be right had it not been for the fact that there were no reviews available at the time.I brought the beast within hours of its release. It looked better than it turned out to be. I was hoping that the "blocks" would come out soon after the first release and no review will know that unless CS had told them, which would have been very unlikely as most payware suppliers avoid that subject totally.

Yes it will but you need to copy some texture files fromt the fs9 texture folder and put them into each texture files for the aircraft.These are ones that start with PSSV or PSS558 in the file name.Ron

To be honest I'm not convinced by the install many times on an unchanged system commnts I've read here.I uninstalled FSX because I wanted to changed some software and also move it to a different drive with more space, when I reloaded, presto, it wanted to reactivate FSX.This means I've used my two lives. Don't intend to carry out the third until or if it becomes a "no other option" decision.Ron
