  3. Thanks Bill,It was just curiosity because I am now studying Photoshop and call my attention your comments.I suppose that you draw background of a gauge in one layer and, say a needle in another layer and this tool makes the BMPs and a XML file ready to load in aces.exe to work in the code just for the functions? If that is true, do you think it is worth do gauges in C++?? If you want I can open a new thread asking how to do a little sample gauge from a PSD file.Best,Jose
  4. Hi Bill,Could you please explain where or when you use multilayered PSD files in a plane design?Thank you for this observations!Best,Jose
  5. Hi JimOK thank you for your response. Is there any way to stop the initial downloading and have control over the buttons to load any other file saved previously? If I am not connected to the Internet the program keeps trying to connect in an infinite loop and I can't access any function.ThanksJose

  7. Hi Jim,This is the error in the report screen:EventType : clr20r3 P1 : xengine.exe P2 : 1.0.0.325 P3 : 465b5bd5P4 : mscorlib P5 : 2.0.0.0 P6 : 4333ab80 P7 : 15b P8 : 51 P9 : system.argumentoutofrange I am sending all other files to Damian.Best,Jose
  8. Hi Damian,I am having the CTD too, sometimes is ASX, sometimes FS. CTDs are always relates to changing airports.Exmple: I have been flying around LECU - LEMD, landed at LECU, stop at any door and them change to another airport in USA with bad weather. After 15-30 seconds in the new place I have a CTD. Two in FS and another two in ASX. With and without powered on XGauge.BestJose
  9. Hi Kevin,Some light perhaps...>I have AMD Dual Core 64x2 3800.>Winfast PX7900GTX 512 Ram>2 Gig Ram>German edition of FSX>I have the spanish edition of FSX, perhaps there is a problem with some characters in a file. I rename all html files and still got the CTD when the flight is loading. Thanks for your efforts.Kind regardsJose
  10. Same here... the game just disappears.Perhaps some code or graphics in the html files of instructions?Jose
  11. >Yes, I reset the Pagefile to be 3700-3700MB...>>I'll try a lower size then.Hi Bill,Even you would like to set 0 -> defrag -> set 700, you'll end with a clean one block of virtual memory file.RegardsJose
  12. Have you changed Virtual Memory size? The best configuration with your amount of ram is no more than 700-800MB with same values for both maximun and minimun. As you know, the sad way of try and error.Jose
  13. >A forward slip is used to descend at a higher rate while>keeping a relatively low airspeed. To do this you kick in>full rudder, lower the nose and apply opposite aileron to keep>tracking (sideways) in your desired direction. Airplanes>without flaps use this very commonly for final approach...Hi all,After reading all post I reach the conclusion that FSX still has several deficits when simulating the reality. My instructor always said me that doing side slips with full flaps is very dangerous because it makes stall the tail. This is very badly simulated, isn't it?Jose
  14. YES, of course, I have to read all the documentation. Thanks for your kindness!
