  1. Ok thanks for the help. I've been checking and still nothing. The status hasn't changed. This is extremely frustrating. I filed another ticket because I thought maybe the first one had a problem with it and now they are both visible.
  2. No response as of now. I'm still waiting and I've provided all of the information that was requried during the creation of the account. Do you think I should file a new ticket?
  3. So I submitted a ticket yesterday because a reinstall of AS2012 would neither accept the key it came with, or the originally purchased ASA key from a few years ago. It's been 24 hours and the ticket is still in the "unassigned" category. How long does it usually take for them to fix a license problem?
  4. Something to consider.... I have found that it definitley doesn't happen all of the time, but when it does, I found that if I immediately disable Direct Wind Control Smoothing (DWC) and then click "Save and Apply" on the bottom left, within about 2 or 3 seconds, the temperature immediately corrects itself. This works every single time. On the other hand if I am flying, and I enable DWC, then click "save and apply" the temperature immediately goes to +41.Does this help any?
  5. FYI: In your previous post you said "virtual" so that's what I was looking for. I looked for Create Additional Stations, and yes it is on.I'm not sure what's going on, when I try to print the log to PDF or to regular paper, it says an unhandled exception has occured and press "quit" to close or something else to return. I reran the same FP through ASA now that I've landed its showing what appear to be more normal winds. Is it possible that we could be getting bad reports from some of the stations? The rest of the trip across, through Boston and into the NY corridor seemed to work well although I still don't understand what happened for the first 20 waypoints or so. It won't let me upload the flight plan, so here it is if you want to copy and paste it into simroutes and see what it looks like on your end.VEBIT T51 LASUN UN176 MOROK UL856 DJL UH10 AMODO UM729 RESMI UL851 LGL UN502 JSY UN160 LIZAD UL739 GAPLI SOMAX 5000N 02000W 5000N 03000W 5000N 04000W 5000N 05000W KOBEV YQX N124B TUSKY PLYMM PLYMM4
  6. I'm using ASA, sorry about thatI'm not sure where Virtual Stations areLock to closest - yesEnhanced Route Coverage - Yeswind Data with Shift Z, matches Panel informationRight now and as of about the last 15 waypoints, it seems like the ASA data is matching the FSX readouts (Shift Z and the PMDG panel information)It seems like the wind data is more accurate in the states, than over Europe, I really don't understand this averages issue. Averages are 219/09 and wind component is -6. This is really going to cause a problem with my fuel calcs flying from Zurich to Kennedy
  7. Jim, I reported about 2 weeks ago that the LDS 767 was having a hard time, for some reason with DWC enabled... It would throw the TAT to +45 @ above 18000 and essentially fall out of the sky. No matter what, as soon as I enable DWC, this problem happens with the LDS. Now, with he PMDG 747, DWC seems to be working fine, with no trouble on the TAT....... so far. Here is the weird thing, the wind in ASX say that at a given waypoint, it's supposed to be 173/44 and it's actualy 214/49 in the game. Why does this happen? Also, on the briefing page, the averages show 218/10, but there is not one value on any of the waypoints that is less than 35? How could there be an average of 10 knots, when the next closest one is 3 times as much?I've tried refreshing, but it doesnt seem to do anything.UPDATE** - Over the DITAL waypoint - FSX wind shows 107/44 - ASX shows 356/43 (this doesn't make sense) Thanks for your help....
  8. Its really weird because I don't remember seeing this until after I installed the PMDG 747. I know that if I disable it, it doesn't happen. If I leave it enabled, the temperature goes through the roof. As soon as I uncheck and click save, it fixes itself. For the longest time, I ran DWC enabled and it never negatively affected the Level D. That's weird. On a positive note, ASX has been VERY accurate in replicating upper level winds within just a few knots.... I mirrored DAL61 last night from KLAX to KATL and it was remarkably close in the wind calcs.
  9. Jim, not sure if you missed this one, but is seems to have dropped off the radar... any thoughts?
  10. Here is a good test.... but it only works for domestic routing.... I've been comparing it with AVSIM.... put the depature and arrival airports in, then on the next page, use the leer jet as the selected aircraft.... copy and past the route in there, without the sid and star..... http://www.fltplan.com/AwFmsNewFlt.exe?CRN...&end=MSGend
  11. Jim and others,I know this topic has been beat to death, but I noticed something that I haven't read anywhere. Flying the LD767 out of LAX tonight, I have DWC enabled. As nearly always, the temperature goes from -26 to +45C and we lose power and nearly fall out of the sky. When this happened, I put ASX on the second screenso I can use the sim and make changes while seeing everything. As soon as I uncheck the DWC box, then click "Save and Apply" the temperature goes right back to where it's supposed to be at -26. Check the box, then hit save and apply and it jumps right up to +45....Has anyone else noticed this?
  12. So then is ASX not capable of giving you a true average wind direction and speed for fue planning purposes based on the flight plan? Of is there a better tool within ASX to do it with?
  13. Jim, we're talking about the Average data. I'm looking at a plan now that says the following: Wind Dir - 257 and Wind Spd is 43 (257/43) This tells me that I have an average tail wind of 43 knots..... if this is correct, if I had a head wind, would it be preceeded by a "-" minus?
  14. Jim, I'm confused... didn't you say that a - would have been a headwind? As I'm flying it right now, its a tail wind consistent with what ASX has prescribed. It has to be a tail wind, I'm flying west to east and the winds are 276/40???
