"Coexistence Failure" Solution
Good evening, Is there any solution yet on the "coexistence failure" on install? I received the message when I tried to update a few weeks ago and have been following the PMDG website, but haven't seen a solution yet. Thanks for any info. Bob Jones

Problem with Uninstall/Reinstall
Not a problem, Didn't think you were short at all. I think what I'll do is uninstall System Mechanic. I don't use it that much any way and this isn't the only problem I have with FSX since using it. After that, I may just do a clean install of FSX and reload everything else from scratch. We'll see if that works. Thanks, Chris, and I'll let you know if that does the trick. Bob Jones

Problem with Uninstall/Reinstall
Sorry about that, Chris, I'll make sure to do that going forward. I'm using the boxed version of FSX. No, I haven't tried that yet. I'll run the new installer and use repair and let you know what happens. Bob Jones BTW, Chris, do you think that System Mechanic could be causing the problem? I've seen some mixed reviews on it regarding FSX. Bob Jones

Problem with Uninstall/Reinstall
Good evening. I was attempting to uninstall 777 from my FSX so that I could reinstall a new version. I received an error message that stated that I had insufficient privileges to uninstall certain files. This was a surprise to me since on my Windows 8.1 system, I am the administrator and I used "Run as administrator" on the setup program. Any help would be appreciated. Bob Jones

I'm thinking of redoing my system
I know this has probably been covered in other forums and I will be grateful for any links and advice that anyone could provide. I have two computers that I am thinking of linking up running FSX/P3D on one computer and weather/ATC/Other programs on the second. I can give specs on each machine if necessary. I'm also thinking of wiping each machine and putting a clean copy of WIN8 on each. Are there any guides published on the forum to help me with this project? Thanks. Bob Jones

Problem with my NGX
Problem solved!! There were some issues that made me think the problem might be in my CH flight Sim yoke config. I reset to default in both FSX and FSUIPC and, voila, the plane flies perfectly!!

Problem with my NGX
Thanks, guys. Yes, Kyle, I've flown it to the letter. In fact, I did that again after installing the service pack and the -600/-700. I had the same suspicion. I'll run the tutorial again just in case.Jakob, thanks but yes I raise the flaps by schedule and set the trim while at the gate.I'll fly the tutorial again later this week and see how that works.Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Problem with my NGX
Hi Folks. I'm having something unusual happen with my NGX installation. Whenever I take off, my plane seems to want to level off at about 3000 feet and will accelerate to no faster than 195 knots. This has happened with both pre- and post-service pack and it happened when following the tutorial. This wasn't a problem originally but it has persisted for a couple of months. I'm puzzled about what to do about it. This is such a great aircraft and I really want to get this working correctly. Has this happened with anyone else?Bob JonesManufacturer: DellModel: XPS-8300Processor: Intel Cor i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHzInstalled Memory (RAM): 8.00 GB RamSystem type: 64-bit Operating SystemVideo Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

New Computer, New Problems
Most of my Wilco/FeelThere, PMDG. I haven't tried loading the LevelD yet or my Flight1 stuff. What's UAC??BobPS: Wilco says that they don't support 64-bit so I'm not surprised that the Airbus in particular is difficult.

The specs are as follows:Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 8200 at 233 GHz 2.34 GHz8 GB RAM64-Bit OSI'm having difficulty getting any of my add-ons to run in either FS2004 or FSX.Is this the 64-bit problem or is there a special way that I should be installing the programs (i.e., Windows XP compatibility)?Any help would be appreciated.Bob Jones

So has everyone solved this problem except me??
I'm still experiencing the CTD problem that we have been talking about. I'm using FS9.1 on a Gateway with the following specs:Operating System: Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 2 (2600.xpsp.051011-1528)System Manufacturer: GATEWAYSystem Model: GM5260BIOS: Default System BIOSProcessor: Intel® Core2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz (2 CPUs)Memory: 2030MB RAMPage File: 479MB used, 3441MB availableI have also returned to IE6, even though I use Firefox.I am wondering if one of the Windows updates is causing the problem, although I'm not sure how I would find out except by removing one at a time and running a flight.Oh yeah, one other thing: This problem occurs with FSUIPC 3.70, 3.71, or 3.72.If anyone has come up with a meaningful solution, please let me know. I can provide any further system info as needed. Thanks,Bob Jones
