  1. Hello, I have already checked for driver updates using windows default function check for drivers updates. The drivers from 2006 are the latest provided by microsoft. FSUIPC is clean in terms of key assignments. I can reproduce the issue by just checking the key switches using windows default game controler panel without any FS related software. I have checked the behaviour as well with another pc and got the same problem. It seems to be related to the VR TT panel hardware or HID drivers. I have not tried with other OS than Windows 7. So I guess I have to live with it. Thanks, Christian
  2. Thanks for your reply. I have tried several USB ports (USB2 and USB3) of my new ASUS Z97 Pro Gamer board. But in general there was no difference. In terms of the driver there was no need to install any driver. The VR TT panel is recognized as default HID joystick device with Windows 7 default drivers. Since there in no need for separate drivers, VR does not provide any driver up-to-date for this panel. Just checked the currently installed HID Game Controller driver: Provider: Microsoft Date: 21.06.2006 Version: 6.1.7601.18199 I have found newer drivers here: http://www.driverscape.com/download/hid-compliant-game-controller Description: HID-compliant game controller Driver Installer File Version: 8.4 File Size: 2.33M Supported OS: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP I don't know driverscape. Are drivers provided by driverscape trustworthy? What are the best drivers to be used? Thanks and best regards, Christian
  3. Hi all, I am using LINDA for key assignment of my Saitek Switchpanel, Saitek Throttle and CH Yoke. It works great. Last month I bought VRinsight Tact and Toggle panel to assign most of overhead panel switches to it. Now I do have some problems with the VR TT panel. Sometimes when a switch is changed, it doesn't get recognized, so nothing happens. It's not specific for a special key and happens occasionally. I as well observed, that when switching e.g. T1 to ON is not recognized, then switching on another switch, the previous switch change e.g. T1 is recognized in addition. First of all I thought it might be related to LINDA, but it happens as well if I just check the switch changes with the Windows 7 game controller settings. The VR TT panel is recognized as windows joystick without need of any driver. Does anyone else have a similar problem with the TT panel and got a solution for it? Christian
  4. I have just found the solution to my problem: I have removed all entries of "PanelAsTexture=0" from the fsx.cfg. The 2D panel looks ugly now, but the VC displays DUs and all other readouts correct and not frozen anymore.
  5. I have the same problem. In the 2D panel everything is working well, but in the VC the DU and MCP readouts are always frozen. If I zoom one of the DUs in the VC it shows the correct informations, but the embedded DU is frozen. This happens right from the beginning after loading the aircraft. I have 19" monitors. I tried full-screen and window-screen mode, but the behavior is the same.My spec: Windows XP 32 bit, Intel E6750, 4GB, Nvidia 8800 GTX
  6. Hi,This thing looks really interesting. Compared to other solutions it's not very expensive.Has anyone tried it out?Cheers,Christian
  7. Yes, I first had a look at the entries in the system event manager. Every time I started the FS9 I got two new entries in the application section. The entries state that there ist a problem with a registration or dll, but there was no information which dll causes the crash. There was a hint, that I should use "/AUXSOURCE" to get more information. But I don't know how to use the "/AUXSOURCE" parameter with FS9.Well, I think also that there is a problme with some incompatible dll files, but how can I find out wich one is the one causing the crash?Christian
  8. Hi all,After many autoupdate reminder of the IE7 update I decided to do it. I installed the new IE7 final. Two days later I would like to have a short flight, but the FS9 does not start. I got the splashscreen for a few seconds and the the FS9 crashes. Every time I tried to start the FS9 I got also two entries in the eventlog (application). But the eventlog entries have not gaven me an idea what's wrong. First I thought, that the problem was in the FS9.CFG, so I let the FS9 create a new one, but before it has been able to do so, it crashes. Then I thought, maybe there is a problem with the graphic drivers, so I downloaded the latest version of the ATI Redeon drivers, but without any success. After that I reinstalled the FS9.1 update, but ...After many horrible hours I remembered, that I have installed the IE7 two days ago. I have found an article on the Microsoft Page (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555608) stating that there is a problem with IE7 Beta and the OLEACC.DLL in the FS9 directory and deleting or renaming of the file will help. Nevertheless my FS9 does still crash at startup.Only after uninstalling the IE7 I got my FS9 up again! :-)Has anyone experienced the same behaviour after installion the IE7? Or are there solutions to the problem? Christian
