  1. I have installed carefully these two planes in FSX, with flightplans and textures checked for FSX with AI Flight Planner. I Find the behavior of the planes is very strange:

--both of them appear only with a few generic and empty textures; all white, all grey, a few chromatic details... windows and mobile parts show correctly, the plane flies and is recognised, but it doesn't show the many liverys that are in the Richard Faith's packages

--the F900 shows some green points and areas on the nose and the upper engine

--and the most strange thing: I go to the "Tools" menu, open the AI "Explorer" utility,  use the "create" option, I choose one of the RFAI variants of the plane, and it appears perfectly, with the appropriate livery, even side by side in the ramp to the "empty" texture that I explained above.

Does anyone has these beauties working properly in its FSX? If so, I would appreciate to know wether he has found these same problems.

    Thaks a lot in advance,

    Felix FdC (Spain)

  2. I think all the questions and issues that you can find when migrating your AI Traffic from FS9 to FSX are deeply explained in:

    http://www.interkultur.de/gossmann/fsx/maiw.php

You can find there not only info, but also specific tools for some minor textuers replacements and thigs like that. I use a lot all this is stuff, because I maintain the two versions and I usually prepare my AI Traffic for FS9 and after I copy it in FSX, with little adjustements.

    I hope thes help. Regards,

    Felix

  3. I think most of us are trying to do something better, we are convinced that someone finnally will hear to us and we'll have influence in the future of this project.Because I feel that Flight, now, is a project, something that can grow in multiple directions. When I write in some of this threads is because I actually like and enjoy Flight, I like the big step made in realism, flight dinamic, and graphics. And, because I love all these things, I can not understand that anothers, already established years ago, like ATC, autopilot, Track IR support, an all this staff, are not present now.I do not forget that Flight is free, so we "have no right" to complain. Why do we complain, so? Because many of us should pay for a Flight with the achievements of previous versions. Why this divorce between 'hardcore' and 'softcore' sim fan? I am sure MS could give anyone that anyone needs. Is that because FS has been sold to Lockheed Martin? Has MS signed any sale agreement that avoid it to introduce an autopilot in a simulated plane, because it is too sophisticated?Maybe many of us, who love Flight, would like to have an answer to these questions, maybe we deserve to know what is the future of this wonderful product. And we think that, writting and writting again our preferences and wishes, we are contributing to design this future. I therefore think that our criticism is fairly constructive. I think that the present and free state of Flight is someting like a market test from MS. Our answers to this test will determine the future of the project. So, we must talk now.Best wishes,FFdC (Oviedo, Spain)

  4. I hope the problem is solved. I have reduced the height of the flatten polygon from 165 m.(airport reference height in FSX) to 164 m., and now it works well since the firs time I start FSX.I still don't know why this happens, but after reinitiating many times the PC and the sim, in several conditions, I think all is fine. Thanks for the attention, however. I hope this short drama could serve to somebody that find the same problem in the future.Regards, felixfer

  5. Hi all:I have made a scenery for a small aerodrome near my city, LEMR (Oviedo, Spain). I must add some terrain for a taxiway and an apron that doesn't fit in the default trip. I have made the AFD with AFX, and I have used SBuilderX to make the exclude (airport boundaries, autogen and flatten, three polygons in one final BGL file). My problem occurs ONLY the first time I start FSX after initialition of my computer. Then, I can't see the new apron and taxiway when I am over the ground or near the ground. But they are there, in same way, because if a go to aerial vue, after elevating several times the AFD elements appear. If I close FSX and I start again, I can see perfectly my airport from the ground, and all works perfectly in this session and all the next ones. The problem occurs again when I close my computer and I turn on it again.I have read the tutorials of Luis Feliz Tirado and Scott Smarts, and I have explored several forums, but I haven't found a reference to this strange behaviour.Anybody could help me? Thanks a lot in advance.F

  6. Dear friends:I am trying to improve the aspect of the North of Spain in FSX. Spain is attached to zone N (European West Mediterranean), but this is very unreal for the northern provinces, because our physical geography is more European Central style (the Region A, European Germanic, is the most appropiate for us).I know that some friends have found yet the way to do it (I think the more simple and elegant is the one of Mr. Mandelli in its Italian Regions Pack), but although I have read with many attention his procedures, and the SDK documentation, there are still many points that remains obscure to me.This is because I am an absolute beginner, so I would appreciate very much if some friend could be so patient to give me a step-by-step procedure, from zero, in order to achieve this improvement.By the way, I think that many people in many countries of the world are in a similar situation, so I think that the divulgation of an easy procedure for this matter would be of interest for the whole sim community. Thanks in advance to everybody,F
