Hello all,I have been here in the past for some time now, and waiting for the MD-11 coming out, as well as responsible to put these forums in fire in the past, and also gaining a nice nickname, nothing less than "the Nagging ######", well, without controversy there is no point.PMDG, you guys do a hell of a job, doubtless, you have great products, and I guess moving to FS9 with the MD-11 was a very "smart" as well as a refined commercial strategy, (this was the NB expression, you might recognize me).Shall I also say that I have seen this project coming to life when it was conceived, so a loooong time back, and I can almost say it sounds like a dream that it's coming now.... :( is it?Yes, I could say a million words, on how much effort it takes to achieve it, how much work, the whole programing, old platform, etc...I could.... and I know but you also have to take in consideration that you have devoted customers that are getting a bit anxious because... it's a PMDG product coming out, and I know you are doing all possible and impossible work to deliver your product as fine as always.... but "just snap it up" :( Kindest regards... and oh.... can I sue you for eating my nails out of impatience?

forgot to mention that it's always nice to dream a bit ;)the L-1011 would be a true challenge imagine to create the direct lift control and the active lift control...Happy landings.

let me clap clap clap, it has been a loooong journey for the PMDG team, and they can be proud of what they've done so far...FS9 MD11 is awaiting me upon release, and once again I would like to say "KUDOS" to PMDG they do deserve all respect from the simmers community.As for the next stage....how about an L-1011 with the latest of Lockheed's glass cockpit technology, hadn't Lockheed ended production of the L1011, it would have been the first glass-cockpit acf.My very best to you all, and let's keep the 3-hollers flying for years to come.

Well, just have to compliment PMDG on the decision in making the MD-11 for the two platforms FS9 and FSX.At this point, and as someone said it here before I shall be buying as well the FS9 platform MD11, ever since it's going to be available, it takes a lot of effort to make it for both fs but, in the end, it's good and wisely decided, PMDG is going to get more income on this decision and therefore it will have the good will and encouragement to keep producing great FS-addons for our flight simulator, hum, buy the way, it could be nice to have a "L-1011-TRISTAR" from PMDG, yes it's an old aircraft, but still I see a lot of simmer flying it, but that is just an idea, never the less, L-1011 according to it's history, it's one of the most safest airframes ever build, not one incident due to technical failures is to be blamed. but ok, those are just my thoughts ;) Keep up the good work, and keep up with happy customers regards,Luis Areal

Hello to all,Yesterday I bought the MD11, and it's very very eye candy...on the ground, but when it comes to takeoff, it feels like a "light-linner" instead of a heavy one, and the approach is to forguet about, so..I read the topic, and changed the .cfg file, as advised here, buy the way, thanck very much, now it seems to have a better approach, and not just falling from the sky, allthough I assume this bird needs a bit of work, and I do hope that Sky Simulation releases a patch, also, when landing the aircraft imediatly plunches with front gear in the ground and jumps, all the experience from 747-400 pmdg and level-d 767, or even ifdg MD11, are quite different in "behaviour", they need a lot more speed on final, and correctly set flaps at the manufacturer's speed will not make the aircraft to dive. Appart of this, it's a beauty, but it feels rather sad to have a nice painted aircraft, with all the wonderfull features but with this problem, let's hope that there will be a patch.My best regards to you allLuis Areal
