  4. Hey Jack, just go to flightaware every once in a while and check for flights out of LAX to NZAA. Here is a link for what I came up with using Flightaware: http://flightaware.com/analysis/route.rvt?...estination=nzaaChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 2.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadWindows XP Pro SP2

    UPS Livery

What Steve is referring to is the fact that there has been some posts saying that there was a legal issue with it. I don't personally see how this can be necessarily true as there are many other repaints in UPS colors out there for other aircraft. There has been some talk on another forum that a repainter attempted to do up a -400F in UPS colors, but there is a slight problem with the repaint kit that prevented the repaint from coming out looking decent. As for the fact that UPS does not fly -400s. This is true, but UPS also has some 400Fs on order from Boeing. They should be delivered within the next year or two. Now, for that official answer from the PMDG team...ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 2.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadWindows XP Pro SP2
  8. You also mention a 550 watt power supply, but is it a good quality one or just a generic one that came with the case? And even if it is a quality psu, how old is it? I ask because I have had problems in the past that were the results of a quality power supply that simply could not keep up with the demands of the system because it was just old. I would first do as the others have said above and make sure you're not overheating the video card. Once that is checked off, if you still have the problems, I'd take a good look at the power supply.ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  9. To answer the other part of your question, Polar and Atlas both fly 744Fs as well as older 747-200s. There are probably more, but not sure which. The easy thing to do is to go to PMDGs site, go to downloads and then the 744F section. All of the textures currently available will be there and that should give you an idea of who flies them.http://www.precisionmanuals.com/html/downloads/747F.htmChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  10. Hey Paul,I would be very interested in hearing your impressions of this new scenery. Undoubtedly, it will be vastly superior to Simflyers' but I'd like to get an idea of how smooth it is, since I am not much of an FPS hound. But it does have to be smooth, and of course, I wanna hear all about the eye-candy!Thanks,ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  11. My mistake fellas. It seems that the picture I saw in the screenshot forums was not of the 744F but a repaint for the 744. I purchased the 744F last night and sure enough the GSS livery is missing the last 's' in Systems as you all have said. I am certain though that this will be corrected as time allows.ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  12. Hi,I have been away from my FS computer for a while now as I have been away from home. Anyway, I don't have the 744F yet, but I did take a look at a screenshot on the Screenshot forum of the 744F in GSS livery and at least on the right side, it does indeed say Global Supply Systems... I will be back home tonight and will be taking delivery of the 744F if the validator is working again. I will install the GSS livery and confirm.ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadWindows XP Pro SP2
  13. Ted, Try this link: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?DLID=...atID=fs2004acrp It is true that unfortunately, there have not been many BBJ or BBJ2 variants produced, I'd like to see a few more myself. What Mr. Gregorie has done with this mod is very nice, there is a BBJ and a BBJ2 liverie included as well as a few other very nice liveries and mods. Enjoy.ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  14. No sweat Tom! I downloaded said "popular file of the day" earlier and noticed the evident slowness. I figured it was due to that scenery release. Also when the servers went down, I figured that the file frenzy caused that as well. Thanks for all that you and the AVSIM staff do, you guys are the Best!ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
  15. Tom,I have been a registered, successful user for years now at AVSIM and at the moment, I cannot reach the file library either. I use IE and Firefox and have them both set up according to the FAQs, but the library is down, unless there is a DNS issue. I was in earlier looking around, so this seems to have taken place within the last couple of hours. I just had another friend in Chicago try it and he cannot reach it either. Thanks ChuckC-130E/H/H1 Flight EngineerDyess AFB, TXAMD 64 3700+ASUS A8V Deluxe 1.0 gig DDR400 Corsair TwinX 3200XLC2ProWD 120 gig HDDWD 80 gig HDDTwin WD 160 gig SATA HDDsSB Audigy 2ATI Radeon X850 Pro 256CH Products USB Yoke, Pedals, Throttle QuadBelkin Nostromo n52Windows XP Pro SP2
