  1. I'll download the program and give it a try, will let you know if it corrects the problem. Thank you for the help.
  2. What can cause the frame rate to drop from around low 20's to 5 and 6? It was working fine until the day before yesterday then it dropped off, any suggestions as to what can cause this to happen? I reinstalled the video drive hoping this would correct it but it didn't. I am not sure where I should be looking at this point. Thanks. My specs are:Dell XPS 700Intel Core2 Duo processor w/DualCore technology w/2MB cache4GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX video card 250GB hard drive1 TB hard driveWindows XP ProfessionalXP SP3FSX SP2
  3. "Highmemfix=1 under [Graphics] should take care of it."I tried adding this to the FSX.cfg but it did not correct the problem, I tried it with the MAAM B-25 Briefing Time aircraft. Thanks for the suggestion though.
  4. The thing that confuses me is these planes had the fuselage texture a few months back and now they don't. The first time I saw this problem was with a payware plane that I had problems installing, (it was a demo thing which I really never did like) but after much discussion with the payware people I ended up deleting the plane but the condition started to appeared on these other planes I spoke of, don't know if there is a connection or not, maybe just a coincidence. If it were the SP2 wouldn't it have created this problem earlier? It makes sense that this could be the problem but being it didn't occur before makes me wonder. I am using a 512mb NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX Plus video card, not sure if that is considered old or not but it does not have the DX10 option to my knowledge.I am not using the ez-dok camera, so that cannot be the problem either but thanks for the suggestion.
  5. What causes this to happen in FSX? I have it on probably 35 or so planes in FSX both on payware and free downloads, not on default planes. This problem started about 2 months or so ago. I have Windows XP Pro with SP3 and I am using FSX SP1 and SP2 (not acceleration). Is there a file in FSX that is either corrupt or missing that could cause this to happen. I do not have the DX10 option available so I know it is not that. Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
  6. I am afraid you are suggesting something that I do not understand. What file/files am I suppost to be looking for in FSX? I do not have the "Bloom" checked in the settings in FSX but I do not know what I would be looking for.
  7. Here are my computer specs:Dell XPS 700Intel Core2 Duo processor w/DualCore technology w/2MB cache4GB DDR2 SDRAM at 667MHz512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX video card Thanks for the suggestion, I added this entry to the fsx.cfg but it did not correct the problem.
  8. Has anyone experienced this problem where the textures for some aircraft are missing, just the internal textures are being shown? I would like to know what causes this to happen and how is it corrected.
  9. I was wondering if anyone else would like to see Caranado create a Piper Tri-Pacer? I love that plane and think they could do a great job on this plane, just curious.
  10. Great news. I own every product Carenado has created and now this gives me an opportunity to ask questions when the occasion arises. Thank you very much. Ron Cooke
