Where is the fsx.cfg folder. I looked in the root folder but didn't see it

When I switch from 3D view to external view I get a skeleton plane and stays that way. Anyone have this problem. I have a really good system.

I tried installing a group of liveries with success, except the 800WL liveries did not install. Checked previous livery issues in the forum and and unchecked the read only tab in the CFG file for each. When I go back to install the 800WL liveries it sais --this texture folder already exits. What do I do now.

I have windows 7 and have read the readme file about this back of plane issue but cant get it to work. I went to the aircraft config file and it sais B744 under the general tab. Am I suppose to modify the aircraft config to get it to work or not. Can someone tell me what the next step is?

I do have lots of addon scenery and PMDG addon planes. My FPS when set to unlimited is around 40-50 FPS. So frames are good but why graphics settings slider goes to zero. where do I download the inspector is this gonna fix the problem.

I was told that I should set my FPS to unlimited in order to get better frame rate but every time I do this the graphics setting under display settings goes to zero. This is after a new PC build and new windows 7 install so I get fly the new NG. I get jagged edges as well and cant seem to get rid of them. Is it possible to have both FPS and graphics at top end how do you get rid of jagged edges?

Thanks for the help but still not getting it. Where are these service packs your referring to, is it somewhere on the website I can download. I went to the download tab and it sais service update v2.1, I download it and it sais need to install app.Please point me to the service packs

How can I install the update before I install the application

After rebuilding my PC I am trying to intall all my PMDG aircraft but keep getting FSX ver 10.061355(SP1 at least required)I only have ver 10.060905 installed error messages. Firstly nothing is installed yet only FSX. I am trying to install the original ver first then the ugrades. I now have win 7 pro and before I was using XP, does this have anything to do with the problem I'm having. Anybody know what I am doing wrong. Is there a way of getting the new version so I can install without the error message.

I am also trying to buy a computer that will play FSX. I have a sabertooth and i7 950 waiting on hold for me but not sure what to buy. You guys are confusing me. Who is using a computer out there that FSX can run with sliders maxed out without a problem. What are the PC components

I just purchased a 24" widescreen monitor but when in 2D the screen is distorted and I cant open up the different menues. I did search the topic but I would like to know if the pmdg 747 will support widescreen format

When I load the plane the guages are blank. When I select the plane the navdata does not comeup like it did before. I did a fresh install but the same results. Anyone experience this problem before.
