I'm having a problem with Bert's great Mod.  Ever since I upgraded to the Latest versions of the F1 GTN 750/650 and the Garmin Trainer, all I get is a blank screen. I checked the F1 support forums and tried what they suggested but alas no luck. I even uninstalled both programs, re-installed them and the same issue.  The GTN shows up but the screen remains blank.

Go figure.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just to advise, for me to import a flightplan into the GTN750, the .gfp has to be sitting in

c://usr/name/Appdata/Roaming/Flight One Software/GTN/Navigator1/winfs_mount/FPL/

That’s the only way the flight plan shows up on my F1 GTN750.

I was wondering if there were meant to be Wingtip White Strobe lights fitted.

Having checked the Phenom 300 Manual, they are meant to exist.

Issue solved itself . I don’t know what happened so all ok now.

Hi all,

I’ve purchased the Phenom 300 and is flying great so far.

What I have noticed is that when the AP is on, the AP indicator does not show on the PFD in virtual cockpit mode but when I look at the PFD in 2D panel mode, it shows as active.

Anyone have this issue?

Using a 17"Laptop myself. I use 0.9 zoom but I get a lot of the time menu showing up instead when right clicking the mouse button.

How and where do you fix this Bert?

Yes only works in VC however it is still a lot of fiddling to get cursor in the right spot for it to work.

Just wondering, whilst the aircraft follows the flightplan generated in the FMC, it does not automatically highlight the next waypoint when the previous one has been reached. Can anyone advise on this? The only way I can get it to select the next waypoint is by using the direct to function.

There's an Airspeed Reference Bug on the Airspeed Display and I was wondering how I can change the setting. It is at present set to 240 Kts but cannot find where it can be adjusted.

The LOC overshoot unfortunately can't be correct when staying within the standard SDK programming without ruining other, more important parameters.

Flew from Darwin (YPDN) to Bali (WADD) and the flight was flawless. I’m quite happy with the performance in this latest version 1.1

I have not installed the GTN750 so the Primus 1000 Proline 21 functioned great. It followed the flight plan without any issues. Testing the autopilot ILS approach, It captured the localiser and glidescope without any issues albeit it being slow to react. The aircraft had to correct itself as it overshot the localiser heading but had enough time to correct the lineup.

As for exceeding speed, that’s certainly the case as mentioned by FDEdev.

When using the throttle detent settings, I use it as a guide only especially when set to CLB and CRU modes as the n1 % require to be set much lower to stop from overspeeding.

That is correct. it works with Shift+3 however there is a click hot spot position on the Autopilot located on the centre console and as I mentioned on my earlier post, it pops up the Multi Functional Display Controller. In essence, Carenado fails to provide that kind of information for all their aircraft. It would be handy to have an operating manual included.

I concur, when you press on it, it pops up the Multi Functional Display Controller.

 I’ve purchased the 560XL v1.1 for FSX and so far it’s running ok. 

The autopilot is working so far running the Primus 1000 system. The one glitch I have is when I watch the aircraft in external spot view, it freezes up sometimes for 20 secs than continues on when up in the air and longer when on the ground.

 I was wondering if anyone else had that issue?

No Flight1 GTN Bert?

I'm thinking of buying this but there are a lot of bugs as seems to be the case with most if not all of the Carenado aircraft.

I know it is a bit early asking but is this one worth buying?

Is it possible that Carenado could replace the FMC in the ATR 42-500 with the one that is used in the Carenado ATR 72-500?

Hi all,

I’ve purchased the Carenado S340 and love this aircraft.

The only issue I have is that the autopilot whilst in vnav mode, will not hold the assigned altitude. The VS shows approx -100 rpm.

Can anyone advise?

My version is for FSX.
