Greetings,

Does the weather radar work or is it just eye candy?  I moved all the knobs but it doesn't seem to do change the range or change the weather pattern.

Just wondering if the FMC functions as intended.

There is minimal use available and as there is no documentation on it, I was wondering if there was any instruction on it.

May work if the YD is activated before the AP is activated. In the Aircraft.cfg I disabled the yaw_damper_gain by changing it from 1 to 0.

Give that a try... I didn't notice any difference whether the YD was on or off but the rudder functioned fine in flight.

Could it perhaps be that one of the autopilot functions is still active preventing you using the rudder?

I do hope this will also be for FSX.

Running sweet now.  Reduced my previous propeller thrust scalar from 1.57 to 1.27. The piston power scalar back to 1.0 and the normalized_starter_torque back to 15.  No more Rap dance on cold start-up.

Yes, I’ve reverted back to to the original .air and aircraft.cfg files and making some minor adjustments to the cfg. I run FSX so the issues appear to be the same in P3D.

In no instance should an aircraft react so crazy on startup. I don’t believe it would happen in RL. I still have the thrust scalar set at 1.57 but shall reduce it down a fraction. It’s a bit overpowered at the moment. Currently flying to EHAM and will stop on the way and take it to the Workshop for further adjustments.

I think this mod is awesome but the only way I could solve the lack of speed was to increase the propeller's thrust scalar from 0.97 to 1.57.

That worked fine as intended.

As for manual start up, I keep well clear from it because no matter what I do (even before I changed the scalar values) the plane went into a rap dance and props flying everywhere. I followed instructions and the destruction happened as soon as I started either left or right engines.

Cudos for the mod but I’m having a awefull time getting up to desired FL and cannot get the power I’m up 100% throttle,  mixture at at 20% and hovering at 90-100kts IAS.

Then, all of a sudden I hear increased pitch sound and IAS increases to a more acceptable level.

To bring the manifold pressure into the green zone, throttle is at 82% drops the IAS back to 110kts way out of the green zone.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

I purchased the C421C today but struggling to get up to the max flight level. I managed to reach FL225 sitting on 148kts IAS with mixture setting at 25% near 8 on the pedestal which seems way too lean, manifold pressure @ 31.7 in hg and RPM @ 1783. Throttle is @ 85%.

Any suggestions or advise?

Hi all,

I know there’s info regarding the cabin altitude dial in other posts for different aircraft but I’m at a loss how to adjust the settings in the b350i as the dial is stuck in position.

How can I change the cabin altitude setting when I cannot rotate the dial. What process is available to make this work.

Update: Problem solved by commenting out gauge08 from whamil77 panel.cfg of the Panel.GTN folder.
