You are all so helpful, I have one more question. Downloaded a nice A32X 16:9 ratio panel that was made from the stock FSX panel, but the icons (throttles, overhead, etc) are gone. Any way to get them back showing on the panel? The entries in the panel.cfg file still seem to be there under [Window 00] for Simicons. Appreciate any help.Jim

I just recently moved up from FS9 to FSX, I downloaded a very nice 747 panel with 16:9 ratio, but the view out of the cockpit is angled down about 30 to 45 degrees from the horizon. So, as I am sitting on the ramp, I can se down to the pavement and about 30 feet ahead, but no horizon, no real view of what is in front. I know "Control Q" will change it, but how can I do that permenantly? And is that done in the panel.cfg file?Thanks!Jim

I am in the same situation, have already loaded FSX but not satisfied yet as I mostly fly airliners. Is it perfectly OK to load both sims on the same computer? Nothing from one interferes with the other?Jim
