  1. Hi McCrashI've got both the model files in the model directory, but I've only got five bmps and the cab file in the panel directory, together with the panel.cfg file and a thumbnail.'737_800.cab''737-800_panel_background.bmp''737-800_panel_background_night.bmp''737_compass''737_panel_decals_2.bmp''upper_640.bmp'Looks like I'm one bmp short.
  2. Don't really want to hi-jack this thread, but I've got a problem with the FSX default 737 virtual cockpit. Whilst all the gauges show up fine they're all set in a black background instead the normal grey textured finish. I seem to recall reading about this problem before, but I can't locate the thread. Can anyone advise please.
  3. Forgive me for reviving an old post, but I've got exactly the same problem as John (post11) but haven't been able to crack the problem by following your advice. The sound had been working fine until recently. I have installed various aircraft and AI aircraft downloads but can't pinpoint where my problem lies, unless there's a conflict within my fsx.cfg file and to be honest I wouldn't recognise it if it jumped out and waved at me! Any ideas what to try next?
  4. Thanks for the advice. I did as you suggested, and whilst simpropace.dll was reinstalled into the root directory, when I attempted to start FSX I got the same error message returned. Against my better judgement, but driven by utter frustration, I uninstalled FSX then reinstalled it along with SP1 and SP2, and have started the long haul rebuilding all the add-ons that I had accumulated on my system. Whilst I can now start FSX, (hooray) another problem has cropped up
  5. Being somewhat trusting, I attempted to install an FS2004 aircraft, which was supposed to be FSX compatible, using it
