January 19, 201016 yr Moderator Alternatively, modify the entry to remove the "h" (high-intensity) so you are using the normal intensity version:light.7 = 4, 47.60, 0.00, 3.00, fx_vclight Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator

January 20, 201016 yr I went a step further recently and edited the VC bitmaps in Photoshop using a free Nvidia DDS plugin. I turned down the brightness and adjusted contrast and saved the dds files. Now my 738 VC is much darker and softer, looks great. January 20, 201016 yr Don't really want to hi-jack this thread, but I've got a problem with the FSX default 737 virtual cockpit. Whilst all the gauges show up fine they're all set in a black background instead the normal grey textured finish. I seem to recall reading about this problem before, but I can't locate the thread. Can anyone advise please.
