Hi I am building a home cockpit (Own design). The goal is to able to fly all jets but the cockpit is based and plan for B737. I am building for Prosim737 as I own. Great peace of software but am I able to reach same realism by using my hardware directly to FS2020 without Prosim. The only I need is to be able to remove the 3D cockpit and gets the displays into my monitors in my own build cockpit. Am I able to reach such solution? Best regards Fredrik

Hi I am planning to make a ffb yoke with help from Phidgets and maybe FSUIPC to gets offett values from FS2020 and FSUIPC7. The question is. Can you read a airplane values and the winds impact on the aircraft and read the values and catch these values outside the FS2020?

Hi I have just start to design a FFB Yoke in Fusion 360 and I need to pick a direction for choosing the correct DC motor and controller board. First of all what type of DC motor am I needing? I have decided going for Phidgets solution since Prosim 737 has support for Phidgets. As and P&P alternative I have the Brunner FFB Yoke. The last question is if FS2020 will take advantage of FFB? Hi Glad to have your contact. You can start with writing your knowledge in Sismo board and Prosim737 😊 I building a FSPanel which are based on B737NG / Max. I have plan to use the Arduino Mega R3 with Mobiflight + FSUIPC. My plan for the FSPanel has partly change with the purchase of Prosim 737 in a good way. I have already bought all of the components based on Mobiflight. My components 🙂 I have look at the Sismo boards during a long period, I find it much more expensive solutions but the most important is the stability and the simplicity of configuration ... I also have some question bellov (Correct if I have an incorrect idea of something). All outputs component are 5V and 20mAp. My components are as follows: • Switches – on/off | on /off / on | mom/ off/ mom and Rotary Switches – 12 pos (Switches, Buttons. Rotary Switches.jpg) Does it work to connect --> https://eckstein-shop.de/V-TEC-Jumper-W ... sortment_1 into the SC-MB directly with 2,54 it´s housing --> https://eckstein-shop.de/254mm-Crimp-Co ... n-5-Pack_1 instead of the GIC V4.0 board but It seems much easier using a such board as it has screw terminals? I have seen the WIRING SCHEDULE in sismos pdf of it´s (SimCards Ethernet - User Manual (Features) à 5.5.1). You have a common gnd. Ex. The all components in pin 1-8 must be connect and share the GND from Pin = 10? What if you need 12 pins (1-8 and 11-14). Can you connect all the gnd in a common wire (pin = 10,20,30 and 40) or must the group of pin 1-8 have the gnd in pin 10 separately from the others gnd pin 20,30 and 40. I think I have the answer in “All the grounds are common.” 4) Any advantage splitting the gnd in group of 8 dp? • Rotary Encorder (Rotary Encorder.jpg). The component is require 5V and have one pin for 5V one for gnd and 2 signal pins: 1) If I have correct in nr 2 above the components will take 2 pins, one for gnd and one for 5V. 2) Are the 5V pin also common across the connection (The flat cable in 40 pins)? • LED – Displays like above as “LED – Display in panel ….(Modell HD44780 and drives by a 12C module) Does this type of display work? Hi I know that is a old topic byt I yesterday have download and bought the Virtual CDU 737 for prosim. I have did all of the above settings but I cannot choose the profile stated in the VAInterface.ini file. Therefore I am not abe to get it to work 🙂 Any suggestions// Best regards Fredrik

Hi I am building a FS panel with several components like Switches, Rotary Encorders, Rotary Switches displays ... I will control the components with Arduino mega 2560 R3 and Siminnovations AM 4 when it is comming out. I am wondering: 1 - If AM is the way to go? 2 - If there are another program or boards that will have better support for the various commands in fs2020? I am programming it in Javascript together with Node JS server wish will handle the connection through FSUIPC. I have a main software as PMDG 737ngx for P3D 4. I think it will work but a thing to sorts out. 2) Both the PFD and the ND must be able showing in a separate monitors the FMC too, I think it can be done with 2D panels?. 3) Must be able sending the the output values to a external hardware like the gaugses and the led-segment like heading from AP …., is that possible with plug & play by FSUIPC offset? 4) I have read that you can save where you are in a flight in case of a CTD and later resuming the flight. Is that possible today with the pmdg 737ngx? 5) Can you control a cockpit other than by FSUIPC offset? 6.) I have heard aboute the SDK, am I need it in my project? More question later 😊 Best Fredrik

Are there other aircraft maker like PMDG who creates aircraft that we can integrate with ouer hardware?

Hi I have decided changing into the P3D 4 from FSX and get the 64 bit :) As you know we can control almost everyone of the PMDG 737ngx function and the system. I have look for a smaller aircraft to begin with until I am ready for the PMDG 737NGX, what about the aircraft: S550 Citation II HD Series or Citation Mustang Experience for P3D4 ? Can you control the aircraft as you can with PMDG:s one? Best Fredrik

What about SSHD? Is the writting to the SSD so much higher than i a SSHD when takting about P3D 4?

Hi As you can see I have a good computer and I have beging wondering if the is not better simulation than Fsx and a more modern one. I have seen Prepar3d 4v is out and the oom problem is gone. I am building a FS panel for the flight sim. I have some addon a now is working as FSUPC, PMDG 737NGX for PRepar3d 4v .... Some queestion: 1.) Is the oom problem gone with the 64 bit? 2.) Since my SSD is not that big just 120GB I must install the scenery addon into a regular HDD. The question are: Is tha worth changing from FSX today and restart with an more modern Flight sim and does the 64 bit so much for the sim as I ecxpecting? 3.) I have the old FSGlobal2008 for the FSX do you need some scenery at all mean is the Prepar3D 4v good enough without it? 4.) Works he PMDG 737ngx for Prepar3d better and is the aircraft more stable i PRepar3d 4v? I think I know the answer for many of my question but you never know what too excpect :) Best Fredrik

Hi Some question in the text Since last year I am working on a FS Panel based on PMDG 737ngx but it is flexiable to fly other aircraft as well. My project will be controlled by Mobiflight an Arduino Mega 2560 R3 boards. The devices I needing implement are: Aivlasoft EFB on a second computer with a 22 inch touch screen. 1.) I have a computer based on the Asus E35M1-M motherboard but is the hardware sufficient for the Aivlasoft EFB? Some display for the PFD and MFD maybe the ECIAS display? 2.) How ma ny inch should I need for the displays? The CDU for the aircraft. 3.) What is the most flexiable choice? 4.) A Tabblet with a app is the best, you can just change the aircraft and the app if you are choosing Airbus ....? 5.) How many inch should I need for the tablet if choosing that? 6.) Hardware is expensive but maybe not so expensive if you build it by you own? Best Fredrik

Hi I like showing both the inbound and outbound displays. I am thinking buying a 9 or 10 inch monitor that will showing both. I will go for the format 16:9 but is the format to bigg in 9 or 10 inch showing the displays? I am planning having these displays / the display in a panel maybe 50 - 100 cm in front of me. What I understand there is a limit of number of axies in FSUIPCif you are going to have many Rotary encorders and pot..... Mobiflight and arduino seams to be great and easy. Maybe a mixed of this solutions?

Do you have some Arduino code for: Switches: on / off | on / off /on and so on Rotary Encorder and potentiometers (Axes) Where will I start learn programming for aurdino and that kind of projects?
