  1. Any help?? Anybody? It should be something like this...
  2. Hi all,I'm new here, so please don't bash me down if I'm doing something wrong..!Here's my request: I've came across the Liberty Development Studio work on the last Virgin 747 repaint. It's been a while since I've searched for a good Arik Air 747-400 PMDG repaint , particularly for the FS2004 version, since I don't have FSX.And what about pushing it to a PMDG MD11 for FS9 version??Could my prayer be heard, O Repainters Lords? :-)Thanks for your help..Cheers,Dave
  3. Thanks Mark,I've read the thread, and I basically did what's described.Changing some figures in the aircraft.cfg file seems to be the easier way to get an -ER version. Thanks for your reply!Cheers,Dave
  4. Hi everyone,I've been across this forum but found nothing that could answer my question...So here it is:Is there any way, any tool to add a ER version to my PMDG 747-400.I've read on the Boeing website a few specifications about the ER version (only flying with Qantas as a pax persion, but many airlines operating the 747-400ERF version...) and I noted that the main difference was an auxiliary fuel tank placed on the Queen's well. Enhancing the fuel capacity to 192860 Kgs, and the MTOW to 414130Kgs (910000Lbs), again for the pax version.Any help? Thanks,Dave
  5. I was wondering the same thing about a modelled 747 400ER/ERF, and found nothing across the web..For your information, i did modify the .cfg file, and everything went well so far... I just modified the fuel center tanks capacity, by incrising it to a value that i don't remember, but you can find it on the Boeing website..Cheers,Daveoops "increasing it"... :-)
  6. Hi everyone! So here i am: i decided to buy FSbuild following your suggestions... And after a few days of trial, i must say that i'm really unhappy with it! I found this tool uneasy to use, with difficulties to export flight plans to FS9 and particularly to the PMDG 747... The flight plans provided are accurate but for long haul flights it becomes harder to get actual step climb path and other... Someone said that it has a somewhat old interface... That's an understatement! The tutorials are unreadable and incomplete... in one word: useless! I paid 27
  7. Wow all that looks awesome! thanks to everyone for the help!
  8. Hi Tom!Sorry for the late reply...First, many thanks for your help, I've been on hifisim.com, and this could be what I was looking for...!In fact I'm searching a tool, a add-on or anything that could provide a flight planning with a log, based on actual and real time weather data... The aim is to use a plane with a more accurate fuel calculations. So far I've been using the standard FS9 feature that enables to integrate the true worldwide weather condictions, to get actual cruise winds, etc... But this tool doesn't let you know about any value, so no possibility to enter it on FMS... And that's what I'm looking for! Do you think the hifisim products can do that? Thanks a lot for your help!Dave
  9. Hi everyone,I'm new here, so this thread may have been discussed already, but I'm asking the question anyway to you all great experts of the MSFS World! Here it is: Does anyone have something to get actual winds on a route (or an average trip wind, like a Tail or Head value?), including long haul routes, when using the actual meteorolical conditions (loaded via the standard FS2004 tool into FS2004...)?I've been searching the net for such a tool but found nothing...Any suggestions?ThxDave
  10. Hi everyone!I've been a PMDG fan for some years now, and I honestly love the idea of seeing a PMDG A320 some day... I tried the Wilco one, and I've been trully desapointed to say the less... So I'm wainting a lot from the PMDG one (As I also fly a real A320 in real life!)For a future developpement, I have a question: Isn't it more simple for developpers to create an A330/A340 family after the A320? There are a lot in common, "panel talking", between the 20s and 30s/40s... Lots of similar gauges I guess... So will a A330/340 family come sooner than a 777 family? Otherwise, I can't wait to see either a 777 or a 330/340 made by PMDG so, anything will be much appreciated, though my preference would go for a goog old 777!To me, anything the others do, PMDG does it better! So thanks for your job!David
