Does't update on destination unless FSUIPC "clear all weather" then refresh
Hi everyone,Having recently migrated from FS9 to FSX I brought along my old buddy Active Sky 6.5.I never had any of these issues with FS9, but now in FSX I get crazyness such as getting told by ATC to land at runway 30 in KMSP with this metar loaded on a recently finished flight:KMSP 020853Z 12021G26KT 10SM FEW055 11/02 A2967 RMK AO2 PK WND 11026/0851 SLP046 T01110022 51009I ignored FS's ATC and landed on 12L. Sorry ATC but you should be ashamed of yourself.Anyway... back to the issue... after arrival I saw that the temperature gauge was reading 14 on the aircraft, even after pressing "B" the altimeter read the correct altitude but the pressure was 1013 when it should be 1005. Also, the "few" clouds at 5500 was pretty much nowhere to be seen, mainly a nice blue sky.Now... if I open FSUIPC, click on "clear all weather", then click on "refresh" in AS6, the weather reloads perfectly. The million dollar question is: How can I have my FSX like I used to have my FS9, having the weather nicelly updated without having to clear then refresh as it's so annoying.I also get some wind shift issues that in FS9 was a non-factor as I used to have FSUIPC wind smooth checked in AS (in fs9 that is) with the same option also checked in FSUIPC. In FSX I don't as I don't have a registered version of FSUIPC, my credit card is exploding, no more purchases until may. Here is my current AS6 settings:Regards to all.

Where to next for MS Fight Simulator users?
Huh? Didn't know computers was like dogs, 7 years to a human year or something like that. No wonder my is already grey and the dvd stopped working, it's aged 10 years, not 5 since 2007. LOL

LATIN VFR releasing SBGR soon!
the first one has nice ground and phototerrain, but the second release has suberb buildings. I'm using both together, lvfr's terrain and tsim's airport.

fs9 "crash" on start, but opens and fly
Note to self: Check your PC silly!!!Turns out I last night cleaned my PC to remove the dust and my pci audio card was not properlly attached. The card was "found" by windows, I had the volume icon, I checked in the device manager and there was no errors, but it was not working. Turned off, removed the card and put back, reboot and BAM. Error free FS9. Modererators: Feel free to delete topic or just close so people with same error can see a possible solution.

fs9 "crash" on start, but opens and fly
Gd Afternoon,Since yesterday I have been getting this error with FS9. I even renamed the fs9 folder and reinstalled fs9 to it's original place but the error continued even after a clean install. The error signature reads:AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.1.0.40901 ModName: fs9.exeModVer: 9.1.0.40901 Offset: 000344d9As you can see I patched to FS9.1, all done by the book, with the original cd4 disk in the drive. The funny thing is, FS9 starts, nothing unusual within fs9 environment either.Since I have the RC for Windows 7 installed on another partition I installed FS9 on W7 and to my surprise I also got the very similar error. My PC is an Athlon X2 4400+, 3gb RAM 667, nvidia 8500gt 256mb and a 250gb SATA HD. I also have FSX fully installed and no issues with it, although my fps aren't the best, it's flyable but I have too much $$$ in add-ons invested in my dear FS9 that I don't let it go.I've obviously googled the problem and found nothing but similar error with an ATR, which I don't have. Most similar issues has some other dll in the "ModName", none seems to have FS9.EXE there. So I've tried a fresh install on the same OS, tried a new install on a W7 system (in both XP and 7 FSX runs smoothly). There seems to be no apparent reason that FS9 should have an error. It's mind boggling.I appreciate any help given in my sorry state. My best to all.

AIRAC that matches FS9 runways
Hello,Many thanks for the answers. I have been doing a lot of Caribbean flying with a pack I purchased at simmarket. At first I though it was problems with the sceneries, so I deactivated them and used default, but that didn't help, I believe the scenery actually matches FS9 (which makes sense for online flying, imagine a pilot with addon scenery landing some 300m to the left of the runway) since I saved the flight on top of the runway, then loaded it up but with default scenery. I have no credits to get the latest AIRAC, but I have a relatevly new one (0903 or 0904 can't remember, it's one of these 2). I think I have my old ones archived on a DVD, both purchased and previous free navdata.at ones. The airports I had issues with are Aruba and Cura

AIRAC that matches FS9 runways
Hello,Does anybody know which was the last AIRAC that matches FS9 runways? Does any navigraph one match or only the older navdata.at ones? With newer ones, several airports runway on the FMC doesn't match FS9 runway, even default airport, as MS doesnt always have fs9 airport in the exact real life position, which AIRAC bases itself on. Thank you in advance for any help. Kindly,Marcio Pronger
