Wow nice work! Didn't realize Emirates had THAT many 77W:s!

Thanks for making a fantastic plane even better with sp1. Really love the 77W, feels like a whole different aeroplane!
-
Thanks for the update and great document, interesting reading! Hope everyone reads it!
-
Ahh, that SIA livery have always been a favorite of mine! Really sits good on the 77W!

+1, try Simbrief.com! Easy enough to use, accurate fuel calculations, ETOPS, different airline formats and you can download the flight plan in PMDG format! And it's free but you have to register.
-
Yep, great site! I sometimes build my entire flight plan manually on skyvector and then put it into Simbrief to verify it and get the papers.

You can still keep your DHM and cameras using OPUS in conjunction with ASN weather. I didnt really want to change to ASN but what choice do we have?....
Yes, the DHM is what I like about Opus. I'm just afraid my computer will sag down running both. But for the sake of a weather radar it's definitely worth sacrificing it.
-
Fabulous! Looks like I'll have to abandon my beloved Opus for an ASN upgrade of my archived AS2012!

Well if the sound is correct then it must be something with the coding. Anyway, no big deal, you can only expect so much from a desktop simulation.
Well, if the whole tech team think it's spot on then I'm gonna be happy with it!
-
Am curious to know if the sounds are recorded from a LVL -D simulator or the actual aircraft?
From post #6 above:
We literally recorded the sounds in a real 200LR cockpit and sounds were discussed heavily with the tech team who hear them day-in-day-out during development - dunno what else people want us to do.

.The entries stated above are all fixes in the North Atlantic. For actual waypoints based on coordinates you need to use the LEGS page. They will not work in the RTE page.
Yes, but as he was flying today's NAT V those were the fixes included in that route and that's the easiest way to enter them.

The ironic thing here is, in 2013 consumers nearly need to "jailbreak" their "modern" aircrafts with further tools like (EZDOK or TrackIR) to use them almost how they are familiar with.
There's no need to jailbreak anything to use the VC. I use the hat-switch on my flight stick along with predefined views, easy as ######! If I can anyone can! ;D

Once you choose your ILS approach in the DEP ARR page in the CDU the ILS frequency will be autotuned in the NAV RAD page. Of course you can enter it manually as e.g. 108.3/187. Hope it makes some sense!

That's impressive Fergus! Wanna try something similar myself. Closest I've been to the north pole is on ESSA-PANC at 85N.

Ah, that Kenya livery is awesome! Thanks to Matt & Corina! Flying it right now, bound for Nairobi from Arlanda. B-)

on test flight
That's one exquisite bird!

Sweden, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Kenya, South Korea, Japan, Argentina, Netherlands, Kazachstan, United Arab Emirates and Equador - although I don't think I am supposed to land this thing in Quito due to the high altitude of the airport!?

Oh yeah, they know! Mine quietly makes her way up to my desk and then just flops down belly-up on the keyboard. I never know what the results will be. I have to be prepared for every emergency situation.
You are lucky she just jumps into your lap. My kitten runs into my sim room where I'm sitting in front of the computer, screetches to a halt, then typically attacks the TrackIR cable AGAIN, claws out and climbs up via my thigh and arm to my neck (and yes, I am usually VERY lightly dressed...), jumps down on the keyboard causing all kinds of havoc and strange vatsim messages, and runs out again. All in just a matter of seconds. I am armed with a water pistol just to fend him off but I'm always too late...
Hahaha! Yeah they are fun those little attention seekers!
-
I'll buy another 777 for my cat just to support PMDG. And so she won't have to jump up in my lap every time I'm on short final! Somehow she's learnt that I'm soon finished with that thing at that stage of flight!

Don't see it either. Didn't realize it should be on there.
