You can use the cdu to calculate fuel as described in the tutorials.
I use simbrief.com for fuel calcs, it does a very good job. Just enter your plan, alternate and zfw. Even better if you use the wind data request function in the cdu from a weather program like Opus or AS2012.

Could it be that a waypoint near EHAM included in the flight plan is invalid or not in the database that is causing the trouble? Just a thought. Check for similarities in the plans from Amsterdam.

Yep, saw an informative video from Air New Zealand about the 330 mins certification for their 777s.

Any interest for a Cathay Pacific ´Asia´s World City´ repaint?
Cause I've just started work on B-KPF.
Only done the base color and the ribbons around the tail, so not yet really worthy of a screenshot, but I'll gice ocassional updates.
That one's been done already, it's in the Avsim library. Just to save you any trouble, of course you can do it anyway!

You'll always see containers on the visual model even if the cargo deck is empty.

Just enter the VOR freq or three letter ID in the NAV RAD page in the CDU. Then you'll be able to enter a course in the line below.

OPLA Lahore - CYYZ Toronto passed right over my head the other day. Haven't got the route for it yet but it probably passed the ARS VOR. Gonna try that route myself, should be interesting, you get to use the NATs as well.

I had this too on one flight. But it went away by itself. Have flown about 50-60 hours since and never seen it again!

Sounds like a weather issue with those sudden unrealistic wind shifts. You probably got a sudden tail wind.

Is the ILS active + are you on intercept heading?

Hit the CHKL button to the right of the MCP, whatever that small panel is called.

Make sure you haven't manually entered an ILS frequency. I did that and the FMC wouldn't set the correct one automatically. The ILS should be blank or followed by an A.

Not sure what you mean but BIG 7M is for rwy 26L and should make a smooth right turn onto DET R260 and on to ACORN. Tried it in the 777, it looks just like on the chart.
