Nevermind......Now that I'm down here at my desk I Can plainly see that it will NOT work as I was thinking the Joystick plugged into the computer and instead it's the Throttle that does.

Will the X-52 Joystick work without the Throttle plugged into it? and will the Saitek Prof Flight Throttle Quadrant work alongside the Joystick? I know I will need to plug the Throttles into a USB drive and not the joystick base, but I'm just wondering if there would be any conflicts?

Hey all, Dumb Question. Would it be possible to mod the PMDG MD-11 panel down to 2 engines? So it can be used as a 717 panel? Would there be someone willing to do this, or even has someone already done or tried to do this? The panels are pretty much the same I know there are some differences, but overall they're basically the same. Just curious as we're lacking a really good true-ish to life panel for this bird.

Wow, thanks! Not sure how I managed to miss this site. Interesting as in this picture it's VERY obvious that the old AP is gone completely. Most Refits I've seen still retain the Original.

Does anyone know of a good representation of the Panel Upgrades that UPS did for their DC-8 fleet for FS9? I've tried creating one myself but I can't find any decent close in cockpit shots of the birds to actually see what all is there and how it's laid out. Any help is appreciated.

Hey all, I just purchased FSX Gold last week, and have spent the last 3 days trying to get it activated. I've installed and re-installed it at least a dozen times to no avail. I get the following message when I try to activate it. Product Activation Error: An error occurred while attempting to activate the product. The problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application. Reinstalling the application may resolve the problem. Otherwise, please contact product support for assistance. I've been to the support page and just around the internet and from what I've read it's a very well known and well documented problem. However, no one seems to be posting a fix for it. Even on the Support pages. All of the support requests for the problem are greeted with the same response, to do these 3 things, when the person responds that they have and it still doesn't work, they get the same response back to "try these 3 things" again. If after a couple fo repeats of the same response they're still having problems they are just passing them off to the XBox/Games for Windows support forums, where I've found only 1 thread about the issue from back in August and it was never responded to. The only thing I haven't done yet is actually call the Activation center, but I've read at least 4 posts on other boards from people who have called and were told the game was an older product and they couldn't help them or that the game was no longer supported. Which seems weird as the MS Store is still selling it. Does anyone have any ideas to get this activated? I've done everything the Microsoft support pages have said to do, from the Registry Edit, to the licensing reset tool, to trying a different user profile. NOTHING Works. Please help. BTW: I'm using XP SP3 if that helps in someway.

I do realize this won't be an easy task and I'm prepared for that, however my VA seems to refuse to post any FS9 Textures for PMDG Birds, just FSX. So, in short how does one do this? I know it can be done..

Hey all, I'm having issues with my Saitek throttle quadrant. My prop and mixture levers aren't working correctly. When I move them from full to idle, they work, but when I move them back to full, in game it's only going to about 3/4 full and I have to use the mouse to move the lever the rest of the way. I've had them since January or February, and I've only tried to use them recently when I've thought I'd try flying some propliners. This is for FS9, with SPAD and the most up to date FSUIPC. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, Is there a tutorial Flight for these FS9 NG's? I learn better if I Can see what I'm supposed to be doing. Just curious.

Zurich - LSZH Prior to posting I checked the folder the LSZH.txt had no SIDs or STARS either way I've fixed, got a newer Cycle set.

Is it possible the 737NG(Original one not the NGX) overwrote the MD-11 Files with it's files? As I installed them after the MD-11..

Hey all, Was doing the Tutorial Flight, got to the point where you setup the Arrival, and my FMC has no STARS at all for LSZH. Anyone have any ideas as to why? or anywhere I can download it from?

Hey all,Yesterday I finally got my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke, Throttle, and Rudder Pedals. (Still waiting on my Switch Panel)After some "teething" troubles, I finally got it up and running, with only 2 big issues, One I found the fix for here in the forums, the other I haven't, so here goes.My Controller assignments in FS9 aren't sticking. After I shut down FS9 and restart I have to re-assign certain assignments and "fix" others.Specifically, the Rudder Pedals always have the X and Y Axis assigned to the Elevators and Ailerons, and the Rudder is assigned to a button instead of the Z Axis, plus there is one other thing thats assigned to a button. So every time I start up FS9, I have to check and delete all of these assignments and re-map the Rudder to the Z axis.The other Controller issue is with the Yoke buttons, specifically the Aileron Trim switch(the Left to right switch) the "Repeat" Slider is defaulting itself back to the right, instead of to the Left where I want it. This one is resetting itself every time I check the Settings, even without shutting down FS9.I have FSUIPC(Free) and the Saitek drivers installed, I don't have anything set in the Profiler.Thanks for the helpEDIT: Let's add another issue, when I Map the Left and Right Brake Axis on the Rudder, and click the Reverse Box, after I've set it for the Right Axis, anytime I click ANYWHERE else the Right Axis Reverse Box unchecks itself.

Will the FSX Saratoga work in FS9? Can it be ported down?

I'm having an issue with the AutoThrottle on the 747-200F, If I activate it and it runs for any length of time, then when I try to shut it off, it stays active, even with the switches off.......Twice now I've had to land with 2 engines shut down and the spoilers up to get it slowed enough to touch down..... However, when I do land the Reversers will deploy and function. So the Throttle itself is reacting to my inputs, but the Thrust level isn't..... Any help please...

Hello, I'm interested in finding out what line I need to adjust and in which file it is, so that I can raise the height of the Cockpit view point. i.e. I want the cockpit view to be higher off the ground then it currently is, any help is appreciated.

Hello all, Is there a guide somewhere that explains how to use the DC-8 Autopilot? Specifically, How to use the Autothrottles, How to use the Pitch Trim Hold, How to use Alt Hold. The Handbook is very lacking in this regards. Any help is appreciated.
