    Solved the screen resolution problem, now I am not able to run FSX in any mode...the initial screen opens up and after a 10 seconds it goes off and back to desktop. Did a repair installation with same results...GROUNDED....!!!!

    After installing Windows 8 I was able to fly FSX, then all the sudden it stops working. I could open the FSX, it shows the start screen and after a while it goes back to desktop...any ideas? Grounded....!!! AMD Quad core 3.33, 8gb ram, 2 gb video card. 23 " HP LED monitor,Logitech controller...

    Installed Windows 8 and could not change screen resolution, so played with the PC screen resolution for a while, the Spy Game went out and I thought it was a problem with Windows 8 so reinstalled FSX but now cannot open the program...any ideas?

    Your video card is low in ram, minimum should be 512kb, 1gb is about right...
