Hi Everybody. First post in the forum. Thanks for all the info and help here. I tried to find the solution to the problem in this forum and google it, and found a link to FMC Custom Waypoint Entry Notes (Home/Knowledge Base/PMDG General/FMC Custom Waypoint Entry Notes) , where it explains how to set a custom waypoint, (BTW, the PMDG 747 has a FMC Users Guide Manual that states the same) I'm trying the first format, Alongtrack to comply with ATC (Radar Contact) instruction to be at FL110 10NM before vor XYZ. XYZ is in the flight plan ( RC and NGX FMC). When setting XYZ/-10 at XYZ int the legs, the FMC states INVALID ENTRY. I tried putting the entry before and after XYZ with same result. The distance between the waypoint before XYZ is greater than 10NM (45NM) Place Bearing Distance works as well as Long/Lat. Did not try Course Intersection. I loaded the same plan to the PMDG 747 and tried the Alongtrack and input to XYZ/-10 waypoint and IT WORKED. So it seems to be an NGX FMC issue or the format is incorrect or something I can't see Config: FSX SP2, W7 PMDG NGX SP1c Thanks Robert

Hi guys. First post. First, thxs to everybody for this wonderful product . I have most PMDG products MD, 747,BAe and now NGX.. Sorry to bother, tried everything (did run as admin) but still get a " As described...Please install your copy of PMDG 737....." Is there anything to do besides just installing the patch? I reinstalled the NGX to no avail. In the Control Panel, the NGX appears as installed. Did install the Hot Fix 2987 without any problem. Any help will be welcomed. Again, great product. Hi guys. First post so Thanks to everybody. :( I have three installations with PMDG 747 product. Vista 32, Vista 64 and Windows 7. All work fine.Dark panels is usually associated with key validation (about a minute or so after start they will go dark).The only problem Ive had is that if using 8x acceleration the PMDG flight will start "bumping" and finally the autopilot Throttle management is lost.Vista 32 get the infamous OOM (out of memory) error when you really start playing with FMC screens, mods, etc. Not in Vista 64 (I have 8 GBs or Ram). In Windows 7 Ive had a couple of hangs, but its the old beta system. I will be installing the new beta this weekend. In any case, no obvious OOM (but the hanging could just be that) and is really stabel. Still 8xdoesnt work. At most 4x.Havent changed any configs in the PMDG .cfg file.
