Hello Gentlemen, Here is the problem child. I still have similar problems with the installation of the FSX. I have done the regedit, but now I have the following message after installing the FSX from two discs. After installation, the program has asked me, whether to restart mz computer now or later. I have requested to restart. After this, I have booted up the FSX hoping to get the Product key, but unfortunately the following message came on. An error occurred while attempting to activate the product. The problem may be due to an incomplete installation of the application. Reinstalling the application may resolve the problem. Otherwise please contact product support for assistance. I have lost count how many times I have reinstalled this program. At the moment it is installed on C:\FSX Best regards, Miklos

Gentlemen, I have changed over my Windows 10 from Hungarian to English. I have carried out the quoted instructions above, de-installed the Acceleration pacage, re-installed the package, rebooted my computer, started FSX and the results are the same as I have written on my previous post. Gentlemen, I am in a predicament. As I live in Hungary, the Windows 10 is in Hungarian language. I could not go through your advice. However, I again de-installed both the Acceleration Pack as well as FSX. After a lot of searching I did manage to re-install the FSX under as Administrator, at the end I have activated the program with the Product Key. After this, I have exited out of FSX and re-installed the Acceleration Expansion Pack with Administrative rights. The Acceleration pack did not ask me whether I want to activate it. I started the FSX and the following message appeared. PRODUCT ACTIVATION ERROR We are sorry, a unexpected error occured which is preventing product activation from being completed. ERROR CODE: 1-80004005 By the way, the FSX is installed on C :\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Simulator X Thank you for your help and regards, Miklos Cserny

I have just changed over to Windows10. Consequently, I had to re-install both my simulators. (FS9 and FSX) Both installations went well, on FSX the program asked for my numbers that are on the box. I have entered them, all ok. I installed the Acceleration pack, but here it did not ask for my code numbers. When starting FSX, all aircrafts are in the system, but when trying missions, there are only the basic missions listed and not the "advanced" ones like landing on the carrier etc. I have de-installed and re-installed the Acceleration pack numerous occasions, but no change what so ever. I use FSX Gold Edition besides the FS9. The problem I seem to have with the FSX is after about 1.5 hours of flying the screen freezes and turns a shade of grey. Still can see the panel, but visibly can see that the flying has paused and there is a notice the simulator is not responding. I normally, leave the computer and after about 10 minutes everything returns to normal. I would be greatful, if someone could give me some help to overcome this frustrating problem. Hello Everyone, I have the PMDG B747-400 (for MS2004) that I love to fly. However, I have seen that there is an expansion pack to update the Queen of the Skies aircraft to a -800. To whom it may concern, I have tried to update the FMS with the Navigraph manager, but the FMS data still shows the original date. (I think 2018) I have deleted the PMDG data from the Navigraph manager (FS9), done a re-scan and updated all PMDG (all products), however the 744 is still showing the original date on the FMS. Hi Joe, I have done what you have advised, but the black screen is there regardless. In the meantime, I have re-installed the FSX. Downloaded the SP1 and SP2 and installed without any problems. Now, if I boot up the FSX and select the Ultra Light a/c and select an airfield (KSEA) the sim will work. After this I reselect an aircraft of my choice and it will be ok. so, it is working in a fashion. It will not work in the normal manner. Here are my specs for your perusal bellow. Gentlemen, I have just purchased the FSX gold software. I have installed it a numerous times on C:\FSX. The installation went ok. After entering the Product key I attempted to start the sim. The first page with the music came on as it supposed to, but when I selected Free flight to try it, selected my aircraft, in this case B738,( or any other) airfield KSEA (or any other ). Pressed OK. The sim started to download all the sceneries etc, but very slowly. When finally it has reached 100% either the screen went black or just the table top was visible as if I had minimised the simulator. OK, I thought I had to install the Accelerator disk, that I have and the symptoms were exactly the same. Someone in VPA advised me to delete the fsx.cfg file, by pressing the Windows+R to run %appdata%. Saying that on start up, FSX will create a new cfg file, which did occur, but the simulator is still inoperative. Could someone help me please. I still run my trusty FS9, but I thought I will fly the FSX just for a change. Thanks and regards, Miklos Cserny
