That notifcation has said that you guys expected to have it back up tomorrow for several days now. A lot of tomorrow's have passed since those several days. I'm not being impatient or anything but maybe you should remove that line, or give a better estimation as to when the library will be online again...

I'm getting a"Oops - file is missing" error on every file I've tried to download. One that has been uploaded yesterday. So that might be a whole different issue.

My geekness took over, so I have to show this. At the start page of the file library it says: Hihi :(

After some browsing on the Chromium development forum I found that simply refreshing the page after getting the "Page not found" error will initiate the download.For some reason Google Chrome DOES support FTP, but doesn't know what to do with the ftp:// prefix :S

I wasn't aware of that. Nevermind my question then, and let's hope Google fixes this sometime soon.

Yeah, that initial loading time is what bothered me most. I just want internet to start up as soon as I click on it, and Google Chrome does that. Plus it's still very gast, I would say it's close to if not even faster than Firefox. Also the design is clean without too much rubbish and buttons I'll never use. Google Chrome is the ideal browser for me, even if it's not perfectly safe or whatever.

Hey Avsim staff!I was wondering, since you are rebuilding the file library, is there a chance you could sneak in support for other browsers, preferably Google's browser Chrome?Thanks for everything =D.David

The fact that these guys run this site in their free time and not as their daytime jobs makes your situation a lot different.These guys are voluntarily running one of the biggest freeware sites for Flightsim and they do not have all day to work on it.I myself am very impatient because on the day after the attack I started colleting skins for several aircrafts and adjusting them to my needs and such, and AVSIM has a lot of skins that are not found anywhere else. However, I know that "venting" on the forum will have no other effect than ###### poeple off, so I keep it to myself.Also, Tom said they'd hope to open file library this weekend. =D

You think your servers can handle the insane amount of attention this site will get when it's up? :(
