Freightned chickens?
DC 3 freighter. Okay, LOL scared the heck out of me. Flying final to KBLI, just passed IA and just about to FAF, about 98knts. When all of a sudden, out of nowhere all I heard was a flock of frightened chickens that sounded off in the cockpit and both engines quit. I was laughing so hard I didn't care that I crashed. So, what's up?. What did I do or didn't do? 'tis a puzzle to me. Anybody else have this happen to them? Kindest Regards Grizz Wallace KBFI Win 7 64 FSX/accel.

DC 3 questions
Just purchased DC 3 and have it installed and running. Manual start works and flights are doing well, but I would like to know if the alternate panels that are on the website are usuable for the the FSX port over edition that I purchased and installed. I am planning on installing the RXP 530Gns and possibly some other gauges. Just confused as to what I really have and wonder if there is any updates or anything that i need to do. I also don't have any light in the VC after dark. Any ideas? Thanks for your time, any response would be appreciated. Grizz Wallace KBFI Win 7 64 and FSX with accel.

Voxscript and verbose?
Okay, this is getting a little frustrating. If I do not check the verbose box the FO will not pick a completion statement and just remain quiet. If I do check the verbose box, the FO will announce all of the functions he is completing, and will pick one of the random statements after he's completed the flow. As suggested above, I have to ask him if he has finished. Then he responds. I really want him to complete his flow and then say he has completed that flow. I have completed several sets of tests and this remains consistent. Any more ideas. Willing to try about anything at this point. Kind Regards Grizz

Voxscript and verbose?
I had already put in 3 other statements for completion of the flow, but I also noticed in some of the other scripts that there is a statement "Done" in some of the other ones. Is this something that I am missing in this type of flow order? Still trying Regards, Grizz

Voxscript and verbose?
Okay, I think I'm starting to understand voxscript a little better now that I have been mucking around, but I don't seem to get the verbose function. I have set out a detailed, working flow for the FO for the first flight of the day. The problem is when I chose verbose, he says and announces each function as he completes it. Don't want that. So if I shut off verbose, then he won't tell me when he has completed that flow. Is there a way to accomplish this so he/she completes the flow and then tells me when we're ready to go to the next order of business? Sorry, I'm new to this, but I'm havin' a lot fun so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Grizz Wallace KSEA

CRJ 700 Default aircraft, need help understanding config file
Hi all, Having trouble trying to figure out the lighting system. Friendly Panels and TSS sound installed and I am now flying its little tail off. Now, want to get the lights reconfigured to the actual switches. Right now they are somewhat all ganged up on just a few switches. Taxi light switch doesn't work, but the light comes on even with the gear up if you have landing lights on. Logo and cabins lights come on only when you switch on the panel switch. I would like to sort this out. Is there any way to "ungang" grouped lights to their individual switches on the panel? I have looked at the Aircraft config files, but my understanding is too limited to start making changes in those files. Is there something that would help me understand how to sort this out. I know I can add outside switches for some of the lights using FSUIPC (registered), but even then the Logo, cabin and panel are all ganged together. Kind RegardsGrizz WallaceKBFI/KRNTFSX,XP Pro 32

Potential use for GA
Oops! I forgot, in my system info, that I also have installed, and am running FSUIPC (registered version) in my system. In the un-controled airports all I depend on is ATC to get me set up for visual approach, ask me to inform when runway is seen and then I take it from there going to local intercom.Does that sound right?Regards'Grizz

Potential use for GA
Hi, I would like your opinion, if you think RC4.3 would work for our small regional air operations and would be using it to it's potential. Setup: Win Xp pro, 2.66GH/2 computer. FSX, WideView, Wide traffic (7 systems) , Worldwide WX every 15 mins.We fly less than 10,000 feet and cover WA, OR, ID, MT, Northern UT. Charter and Cargo. Mostly cargo. Fleet: DC-3 Cargo, DC-3 Pass charter, 2 Beech D-18's, C-172 and C-150. Usually fly IFR most of the time because of the weather. Since we don't fly regular airline ,commercial, would we be able to use RC4 to it's potential in our GA operation? I am a little frustrated with FSX ATC.Just would like to know before I make the purchase. Thanks and Kind Regards,Grizz Wallace Grizzco AirKRNT
