October 11, 201213 yr Okay, I think I'm starting to understand voxscript a little better now that I have been mucking around, but I don't seem to get the verbose function. I have set out a detailed, working flow for the FO for the first flight of the day. The problem is when I chose verbose, he says and announces each function as he completes it. Don't want that. So if I shut off verbose, then he won't tell me when he has completed that flow. Is there a way to accomplish this so he/she completes the flow and then tells me when we're ready to go to the next order of business? Sorry, I'm new to this, but I'm havin' a lot fun so far. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Kind Regards, Grizz Wallace KSEA M. E. October 12, 201213 yr Hello Grizz, not sure about that one, i am a heavy script user but to be honest i had not noticed the difference between the two modes and how it affects the completion advice of the script! LOL. Maybe one of the FS++ team can help? Will Reynolds Flight Sim Addict
October 12, 201213 yr Commercial Member Any suggestions would be appreciated In “Voxscript:Edit Properties” (same screen as Verbose option) section of the UI, add a new statement to the “Available completed task statement”. This is what the FO will say once he is done with the custom flow. Add as many statements as you want. One of them will be picked-up at random. To find out about the completion status, you can also ask FO… Have you completed your flow Are we done with the panel flow Are you done with your task Are you finished with your workflow etc... etc... October 12, 201213 yr Author Thanks, I'll give it a try first thing this morning. Regards' Grizz Wallace KSEA M. E. "Grizz" Wallace, KBFI, KRNT PMDG-JS41 FSX, XP Pro, FSUIPC (Reg), WideView, WideTraffic, RC4, FS Commander, 266 Dual-4GB GeForce 8800, 5 systems.
October 12, 201213 yr Author I had already put in 3 other statements for completion of the flow, but I also noticed in some of the other scripts that there is a statement "Done" in some of the other ones. Is this something that I am missing in this type of flow order? Still trying Regards, Grizz M. E. October 25, 201213 yr Author Okay, this is getting a little frustrating. If I do not check the verbose box the FO will not pick a completion statement and just remain quiet. If I do check the verbose box, the FO will announce all of the functions he is completing, and will pick one of the random statements after he's completed the flow. As suggested above, I have to ask him if he has finished. Then he responds. I really want him to complete his flow and then say he has completed that flow. I have completed several sets of tests and this remains consistent. Any more ideas. Willing to try about anything at this point. Kind Regards Grizz M. E.
