  1. Hi Scot, just to let you know. The range check error is back. I've 3 Devices. The Saitek Multi Panal, CH Yoke and the vJoy Virtual Joystick . Linda 2.6.3 throws that message from time to time. 1234BEAD0 ● vJoy - Virtual Joystick → Axes: 0 Buttons: 32 Hats: 0 ($5CEB160) 068E00FF0 ● CH FLIGHT SIM YOKE USB → Axes: 6 Buttons: 12 Hats: 1 ($5CEC8A0) 06A30D060 ● Pro Flight Multi Panel → Axes: 0 Buttons: 20 Hats: 0 ($5CECA20) Cheers Stephan
  2. Ladies and Gents, what about a purchase option within germany? I tried the listed dealers here but guess what.. no one is selling that DVD to me. Any Ideas? What about just distributing the needed couple of files among the Flight1 customers? Cheers Stephan PS: Buying in CAN is simply no option. Shipping costs of >80$ for a product of $25..... ! no way.
  3. Hi all, the issue is still not solved. I have it as well with MCE 2.5.78 (newest version) and VoxATC 6 using a CH Yoke Button. ~80% of the time FO is still listening though I've set 'UsewithVoxATC=1' and defined the same button for ATC Comms. Unticking/Ticking the ATC option does not change the behavior. Exclusive use of the recognition engine doesn't change anything as well. One thing: MCE thinks the button is #9 while VoxATC states it is #8. Since VoxATC works fine with the button and MCE does not, I would guess there is something broken within MCE and the button numbering.... Any Idea? Cheers Stephan
  4. Hi, set it up as described but does not work. Im using MCE 2.5.78 and VoxATC 6. VoxATC works fine but when I press the button MCE does not inhibit speech recognition.... One thing: MCE recognizes the Button as #9 (CH Yoke) while VoxATC recognizes the same button as #8... When disabling VOXATC and running MCE alone, pressing the button does nothing. Pressing the ENTF Key yields a beeping noise while pressed. I would expect the same from pressing the button but it does not..... pls adv. Cheers Stephan
  5. Hi all, tuning NAV1 and/or NAV2 to an ILS Freq starts sounding the morse code. How can I switch this off? Usually I have to enable receiving voice on NAV to here it.But as far as I know I don't and all switches regarding receiver configuraton I found on the panels did not help... So pls adv. BestStephan
  6. Hi All. That is exactly what I Do!But before starting the engine I look outside the window (or look at a separate window showing the plane from a side view) to make sure the props are properly un-feathered.Following this procedure right after laoding the JS41 will leave me with 2 nicely running engines (no need for the pump 'cause the props are still un-feathered during that time).Following this procedure ~2-3 Minutes after loading the JS41 will only bring up the PRM to ~50%. The Startup Sequence will be terminated after ~60sec, leaving me with a engine spinning down and with EGT at ~450 (props caused some drag preventing full RPM because they actually were on their way to become feathered)Following this procedure >10 Min after loading the JS41 will leave me with 2 burning engines (If I start them with the then FULLY feathered props of course). If I put the props on the locks using F2 (while the JS41 is loading) and F1 (after the plane was loaded completely), that leaves my with two properly un-feathered and locked props. Now I can take all my time to prepare the plane as described in the manual.Starting up the engines afterwards is usually no problem. But if I shutdown the engines without engaging the locks properly, by intention or by accident, they remain feathered regardles what I try afterwards. That was the reason why I stated 'The pump does not work (on my site).Question:Is there anybody out there who can assemble a DETAILED checklist or procedure that shows what conditions must be met and/or what actions must be taken to un-feather the props and to put them on the locks properly by using the un-feather pump switch regardless in which state the JS41 actually is?The above quoted procedure seems to be incomplete. What about...- Required Switch positions (GPU, GEN, BAT, EMRG, ESS, ICE, LIGHTS, AVIONICS, etc)?- Required Gauge readings (EGT, FuelPressure, OilPressure, HydraulikPressure, BAT/GEN/GPU Volts and Amps, etc.) and annunciator indications (ELECT, etc.)?- Other Required actions?- etc.To give us all a similar starting point (for describing and/or testing the procedure) I would suppose to do the following:1: Loading the original Tutorial manually into FSX (Do nothing until the Tut is fully loaded)2: Quit the flight (just the actual flight not the FSX)3: Load the original Tutorial again (Do nothing until the Tut is fully loaded again)4: Wait 10min (Don't touch anything though it wil drain your two BAT quite a bit, get yourself a big pot of coffee)This way any residues of a fromer engine fire incident or otherwise mixed up sim parameters should be nullified by loading the Tut twice. The props should be properly FEATHERED! now (That means that operating the pump is REQUIRED to get the props back on the locks for startup). From that setup I NEVER was able to un-feather the props (using the pump) or start the engines succesfully (as expected with fully feathered props of course).Happy reproducing...BestStephan
  7. Nope. Waited for more than 10 min.Nothing is moving, turning or something.Wether left nor right ....Sorry.PS:Today I had problems with the startup after loading the tutorial.Starter just was able to bring the engine up to ~50% rpm within roughly one minute (ver very slowly crept up to that level, looked like it gets no fuel but fuel pump was engaged, and pressure was ok...!?).Then the the Start Master switch flipped back to Air and the engine spun down.Afterwards the engine did not start at all anymore and the Start Master switch always went back to Air a couple of seconds after pressing the Start Button. Same behavior with both engines.Weired.BTW: This occured after I had to reload the tutorial 'cause I blowed both engines simultaneoulsy while careless taxing aorund....
  8. Hi all,I'm just in line with all the people out there having problems with the JS41 engine startup.I'm through the AOM and I fully understand how the startup should work and how to handle the start locks properly . I'm able to startup the engines and to give her a nice spin around the block...but... I've to do that before the props move into the feathered position! When the props are in feathered position (by intension or accident) I can't bring them back with the unfeather pump into the un-feathered position required to startup the engines without killing the starter. The pump just don't work and it never had with my JS41.I've NO Idea why it does not work.Reading through all the guides and tutorials and such always showed that the pump schould work without any problems. It is operated by electricity, so maybe someone could describe to me how to energize that pump properly.I never found a complete description what switches must be set properly or what other conditions must be reached to get that pump unfeathring the props! BestStephan
