I am setting up for my arrival into KLAX at waypoint GRAMM. It has a hard ceiling and floor restriction of 17,000 and FL210. How do I enter these into the FMC? It only ready has a proper entry at RIIVR but I did not enter it. It shows as "12000 14000" Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have about 2 hours till I reach this point but would like to make sure I have it input a little a head of time. Thanks for the help!

Any ideas? I cannot seem to figure out why it's not loading for me. Revised: SOLUTION It didn't appear that my computer was blocking the website so instead I chose to allow it. 1. Load your Internet explorer 2. Click Tools 3. Click Internet Options 4. Click the Privacy tab 5. Under the Privacy window, Click Sites 6. type http://precisionmanuals.com and then press ALLOW. This should then let you access the website through all of the major browsers.

Hey simmers, Is anyone experiencing trouble loading PMDG's website? I have not been able to load it for the past couple days. Originally I thought their website was down for a little but now I'm thinking something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Dmytri

Can you explain what tutorial you are referring to? Tutorials for the 747-400X did not come with the download.

I don't believe that is my situation as I did not have any payload. I made sure that I kept the aircraft completely empty to ensure similar flight conditions for each test flight. Maybe I need to use the Speed restriction but how would I type in 250kts below 10000 ft into the FMC? How can you have a climb speed greater than 250 when there is a strict restriction below 10,000ft? Could you explain how this would occur in a real situation? What do you mean by U/S?

Greetings everyone! The 747-400 is much more complicated than the in-game default 747 that microsoft provides. I am able to control those birds and have them obey the speed restriction while they are under 10000 ft. The PMDG, however, immediately begins accelerating to cruise speed. Both LNAV and VNAV are illuminated and TO/GA is activated shortly after taking flight. In the FMC, I have my speed/trans set at 250/10000 and my speed/rest left blank. Should I input something into speed/rest or does that limit something else? Thanks for any help! --ButtahNBred

I am using both mouse and keyboard inputs into the FMC. I don't have trouble all the time. I am flying the 744 right now without any freezes. Hopefully, that won't happen again. Is there any suggestion if it does happen again? ButtahNBred P.s. Sorry about not signing my name.

Good evening everyone, I have been a member of this website for years, but this is my first or close to it post. I purchased the PMDG 747-400 for FSX and am trying to do a flight with it. However, anytime I try to get the flight underway, setting up the FMC, the simulator freezes. I am able to switch between views if I right click and select a specific view but I cannot use the keyboard commands (e.g. F9, F10, F11, and F12). They do absolutely nothing. I can, however, set the throttle to full and retard them back to idle. Are there any suggestions on how to solve this problem? I have just completed my english class and am eager to get back to the skies. Thanks for any and all help!
