This is just a random question which porbably has a simple answer. Why, right at the start of the takeoff procedures, is the engine put at a certain percent n1 and then increased after two seconds or so? You can hear it as onlooker too. I suppose that I am asking this as opposed to just increasing it to full throttle at the start.thanks,airindia16

yes, I'm very sorry! I forgot to check my own forum as i was out of town! So I have just added another picture, which is at Denver International Airport. I only have one add-on and that is FsPassengers. How would I go about "disabling" it? This only occurs every now and then, but appears to be very random. Hello,Recently when I've been flying, these random textures appear on the runway or taxiway in a certain view and then when I switch to top-down for example, it appears normal. So then I would continue flying in the original view without incident. However, today I was KORD - O'Hare Airport in Chicago and the runway looked very wierd in the cockpit, and spot views, but was fine top-down. Flying was thus basically impossible.If you have any idea what is happening please reply and see the picture below.thank you,airindia16

yeah very true; moreover, logically, they cant be full because otherwise all arrivals would be waiting on the tarmac for a gate; so I assume that if you wait for some time and use the time acceleration there may be more aircraft at a particular aircraft.Good observation! :D

okay so i have compeltled the reinstallation and it is evidently back to normal as my airports are flooded with aircraft; at 65% Kfll looks as shown. I do appreciate the help everyone gave and if anyone who is looking at this is experiencing the same problem, I suggest a reinstallation because it pays off in the end.

okay so basically i had a problem with my computer so I had to completly start from scratch. Right now I am in the process of installing woai and it seems to be working fine because at EWR the airport was cramped with Continental airlines. So, thanks for your help and I'll keep you updated as i progress in the installation.thanks again,airindia16

okay thanks for your help, but when you say "I also couldn't see Continental Airlines in the sim. I re-installed the package, still the same problem. Finally, I re-installed the Continental Airlines package again and I got no more error messages and could see the Continental ai in the sim. "did you reinstall it twice?is there anyway to uninstall the entire Woai (but only that) and then reinstall it?

okay I tried both going to a night mode and shutting off the shadows but I still have no airplanes. I realize that you are probably tired of trying to help but please help me resolve the problem.Thank you,airindia16

ohkay here it is; i have both a picture of my slider settings and the top-down view at Fort Lauterdale gate b 5, in it you can see that there are no other aircraft.

no i DO have woai aircraft but only a few of them are appearing, and I did exactly the instructions you gave.

okay so i followed the steps and yes I forgot the administrator setting. It worked and when i played fsx, there were only the default liveries although numerous planes (but i couldnt seem to spot them from my plane--parked on runway 27 at o'hare in chicago...)So then i changed trafficAircraft.bgl to trafficAircraft.bgl.bak. after this step, I was left with two airplanes: continental and Ted, that was it! I even have the traffic set to 100%. The only possible doubt could be with the renaming because the file trafficAircraft.bgl was only called trafficAircraft (i understand where the .bgl comes from) so I renamed it to trafficAircraft.bgl.bak; i'm not sure if this changes anything but i thought i'd just point it out.So what am i doing wrong?thank you very muchairindia16

Thank you for your time. As i ran through it, it made sense. At step five however, i couldnt fully expand my C drive in which the fsxs main folder is; what am i doing wrong? you can see my dilemma in the screenshot

Should i try the custom setting reccomendation you gave first because reinstalling sounds like a hassle (which is because I have had to do it more than once--not fun when you have quite a lot of planes in the simobjects/aircraft folder)?Thanks again though,airindia16P.S. quite amazing that we had the same problem because I also get disappointed after watching youtube videos and seeing how amazing they are in comparison to my own fs!

Hi,I'm pretty familiar with the mfs series although I seem unable to cure this problem.The problem is that there are no aircraft in the skies (or close to none--2 or 3 at most) besides myself.Why is the happening?I have the bar in the settings of fsx set for maximum air traffic, but it seems that this action has no effect.Moreover, I got everything from: http://www.world-of-ai.com/ That means I installed the downloader and numerous airlines, but i see none in the game. Initially, I did see quite a few (several months ago) but I can not figure out what has changed since then.If you have any ideas or suggestions please dont hesistate to ask.Thank you,airindia16

No problem for the typo but the readme says:--readme below--Use:====Place FSTscenery.exe and scenery.cfg in the same folder. Double-click FSTscenery.exe to run the program.The application creates a copy of your original as scenery.organd constructs a new scenery.cfg file in the same folderMove your new scenery.cfg file to your FS folder, if created elsewhere.--readme above--So, first of all, I need to clarify something. Is the original scenery file called oldscenery? is the new created one simply called scenery? And then, when copying the scenery file to the main "Fsx folder" it asks me if i wanted to replace the scenery.cfg file in the fsx main folder. I am lost!Please help! The problem is still persisting and i am unable to play fsx. And I have tried attached my scenery.cfg and oldscenery.cfg file from application data to see if that is of any relevance, but am unable to. It says i cannot upload this type of file.
