  1. Yep... This thing is a hot mess. Thanks for your help though. At least I was able to get it in the air to discover it's issues. 🤣
  2. I was waiting for the 13 to introduce fuel, yes, but was leaving it in Low Idle setting waiting for the ITT to settle down. Which it never does. Thank you for your help. Moving the lever to High idle (And then taxi) once 53 NG stabilized solved the problem. I can go flying, finally!
  3. Can't get the TBM to start without the ITT going WAY over 1400. Every red light and alarm flashing. I make sure that the fuel is cutoff before engaging the starter (or loading the plane for that matter) but no amount of monkeying with fuel, blowing out the engine (leaving starter run extra) etc helps. Anyone else having this issue?
  4. Same issue here. An the only fix offered by support, in response to my ticket, was to uninstall, re-download and reinstall. No change of course... More junk from Carenando....
  5. Open the aircraft.cfg file in notepad. Search for "Contact Points" You will see the following: [contact_points] point.0=1, 1.3, 0.0, -4.35, 1500, 0, 0.6, 180, 0.1804, 2.1636, 0.6, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 point.1=1, -5.5, -4.7, -4.15, 1500, 1, 0.51, 0, 0.1312, 1.1247, 0.8, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0 point.2=1, -5.5, 4.7, -4.15, 1500, 2, 0.51, 0, 0.1312, 1.1247, 0.8, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0 point.3=2, -6.0, -19.0, -0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 5, 0, 0 point.4=2, -6.0 19.0, -0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 6, 0, 0 point.5=2, -18.3, 0.0, -1.3, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 9, 0, 0 point.6=2, -21.0, 0.0, 5.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0 point.7=2, 2.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 7, 0, 0 See the first line? point.0? Look right and you'll see the number 180. Change 180 to 30. Save the file. Should look like this: [contact_points] point.0=1, 1.3, 0.0, -4.35, 1500, 0, 0.6, 30, 0.1804, 2.1636, 0.6, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0 point.1=1, -5.5, -4.7, -4.15, 1500, 1, 0.51, 0, 0.1312, 1.1247, 0.8, 0, 0, 2, 0, 0 point.2=1, -5.5, 4.7, -4.15, 1500, 2, 0.51, 0, 0.1312, 1.1247, 0.8, 0, 0, 3, 0, 0 point.3=2, -6.0, -19.0, -0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 5, 0, 0 point.4=2, -6.0 19.0, -0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 6, 0, 0 point.5=2, -18.3, 0.0, -1.3, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 9, 0, 0 point.6=2, -21.0, 0.0, 5.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 4, 0, 0 point.7=2, 2.0, 0.0, 0.0, 1500, 0, 0.0, 0, 0.00, 0.0, 0.0, 0, 0, 7, 0, 0
  6. Happy Father's day everyone! Wake up this morning to find an update to Operations Center. Which I dutifully download as I sip my morning coffee. Once the update is installed, I open her up to see what's new and nearly spit my coffee all over my monitor as I find: The DC-6???? For Prepar3d???? BEST FATHER'S DAY EVER!!!!! Until I click the "Buy Now" button in Ops Center and am taken to the product page... I understand how inflation works, but that's a tad ridiculous, boys...
  7. Same problem here. Since upgrading to P3D I've attempted 3 flights. All 3 ended in Fatal Error caused by panels.dll.....
  8. Sorry if I've missed something obvious. New to this forum and I've read a bunch of posts about the awesome gauge mods Bert has done. Try as I might, I can't find a download link anywhere. Did these get removed? Thanks in advance.
  9. Excerpt from a pilot training manual I found on the net: "The piece of equipment operated for the engine, as it relates to ITT would be the Inertial Separator. With the separator open for takeoff the ITT will increase approximately 20° to 25°C. Why? We are letting air bypass the engine inlet causing the compressor to work harder, which means more fuel (not much, but enough to increase ITT)."
  10. As of Saturday night, at 11:00pm mst, I'm still getting the "ERROR: Unable to activate communications. Please contact PMDG support" when trying to reinstall the 737NGX on my new computer.
  11. Not sure what's happening here. As I fly an ILS approach, everything works perfectly. Plane flies right down the chute. As I hit "Minimums", I click off the Autothrottle and disengage the autopilot. A few brief seconds later, I can hear the "trim wheel" turning, the plane pitches up and then starts a hard bank to the left. All with NO input from me. Has anyone else experienced this and did you find a solution? Thanks. I should have added, I'm using version 1.4 with the SP177 autopilot.
  12. I'll never understand why software companies (and there are many) feel the need to punish their paying customers. You know who's enjoying their PMDG product right now? Some software pirate who downloaded it off a bittorrent site. Know who's NOT enjoying his PMDG product... The paying customer who is sitting here waiting for his ticket to be "processed"... Frustrating...
  13. Hi guys, I'm home.I've checked, and yes, I'm using Build 433 of ASA. Running FS9.1 and FSUIPC 3.96. As suggested in the docs, I've turned FSUIPC weather settings off, except for taxi wind control, which is set to automatic.I'm in the middle of another flight.... I'll see how the weather depiction goes on this one.
  14. It's running on fs9.1 on a single pc, no network install. I'm also using the registered version of fsuipc. Not sure the actual number on it, but I also bought fsuipc less then 3 weeks ago. Sorry that I'm not providing more info (version numbers and such) but I'm out of town right now and won't be home on my fs rig for a couple days.
  15. I assume you mean build 433? I'm not sure. But I purchaced and downloaded it no more then two weeks ago, so I assume it's the latest version. Could I be wrong? Purhaps I don't have the most recent version?
  16. Hello all. I'm a long time AS user, but am new to ASA. Here's my issue. I import a fp from fs and look at both dep and dest. Weather. Usually my dep weather is very well depicted in fs. But after flying to my destination, the weather out the window is completely wrong from what ASA is reporting in the breifing window. For instance, on my last flight ASA was calling for low cloud, snow and freezing fog with rvr under 1500. Yet on final approach I could clearly see at least 20 miles with only a few puffy clouds out the window. Winds and alt seem to be correct, but not the vis clouds or precip. Any idea what I've done wrong? Thanks guys.
  17. Just to add to this, I also had this problem with the 800/900 installed on Win7 64bit. I solved the issue simply by right clicking the load manager and choosing the "run as administrator" option. After I did that, every thing worked as it should.
  18. Not sure what this means and can't find the answer in the documentation. Almost every time I'm descending for a landing, I get the amber "Off Shed Descent" light on the cabin pressurization panel. I have the manual valve closed, the system set to auto and the landing altitude of my destination set.Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
