  1. Hi Bryan, I enjoy the Voice Control version a lot and I think it is a brilliant add-on. But I have problems getting the voice recognition to understand specific words, Whenever I say 'OK', it is interpreted as 'open'. I have tried many pronounciations, but always the same. It never understands 'OK'. I also have problems with 'You're cleared to disconnect and go to hand signals'. I have gone through the setup and voice training several times, and on two different PC's but it does not help. Any suggestions ? Peter
  2. Pheeww, works again now. What helped was to reinstall iFly SP1.02 (not the whole package, just the SP) and then FS2crew.Whole lotta headache though.Peter
  3. Yes, it looks exactly like the screenshot in the manual (Win7 64b). And it has been working well for many flights.FSX/iFly737NG.After entering the cockpit, I launch the FS2CREW control panel. Then when I hit the CFG button, the config box appears, but after about 5 seconds FSX crashes.I have installed no other addons since it wortked the last time.Peter
  4. Hi Bryan,My FS2CREW / iFly has been nice and stable for a long time, but today twice it crashed FSX upon loading, and I got a window saying "Please contact FS2CREW, Error Code 0x80070001".So that's what I am doing....Peter/SAS1376
  5. Hi Bryan, With the help of the good folks at Actual Tools support, I have now found a work-around for this (defining an exclusion for FS2CREW): In the exclusion section I have "Window caption" set to "FS2CREW Main Panel", and Window class unchecked. In the Window definition for the CDU, I have "Window caption" set to "Captain's CDU', and Window class unchecked.I can now even have a window definition for FS2CREW Configuration Panel ! So now I can undock the CDU, and it will go to it's place. And I can undock the FS2CREW and manually move in to Monitor 2, although it has to keep it's frame and all that. So it is an acceptable work-around. I still have no understanding of why FS2CREW Main Panel and AWM doesn't like each other, but at least now I can use it. Cheers, Peter
  6. Hi Bryan, OK - I was hoping someone else might be having the same problem. Am I the only one in the world with FSX-iFly737-FS2Crew and AWM ?Anyway, I will try to ask AWM support if they have any ideas, maybe you can help if they offer any troubleshooting tips.Just a summary:- FSX + iFly + AWM works- FSX + Maddog + FS2CREW + AWM works- FSX + iFly + FS2CREW + AWM has issue when undocking main FS2CREW window Otherwise I can recommend AWM: http://www.actualtools.com/ Peter
  7. HiHope you can help resolve this one..I use dual monitors, and the product 'Actual Window Manager' which has some really nice features in terms of placing windows where I want them, i.e. sending the CDU to Monitor 2.I have FS2crew for Maddog and iFly. For the Maddog version everything is OK.For the iFly version, FSX crashes when I undock the FS2crew control panel. If AWM is unloaded/stopped, then I can undock the window just fine.So there seems to be a conflict between AWM and the iFly version of FS2crew ?Any ideas - suggestions or workarounds ?For now, I just leave the panel docked, but I would like to move it out of the way to Monitor 2. Otherwise, FS2crew for the iFly is absolutely brilliant, use it every time !! I am running Win7x64, FSX. Peter
  8. Hello Brian,I must say this is a nice product ! I got the Voice+Button bundle, but have only tried the Voice version so far.I also have the Maddog Voice commander, and using my experience from that, I have managed to run the iFly version (almost) without reading the manual. It is really easy to use, works perfectly, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. My only objection is that the female french FO is missing !!!! Must go back to the Maddog once in a while, as she probably has no license for the 737NG.Also, I am kind of missing the 'Hello Captain, how are you?' greeting. On of the fun new things is watching the FO slowly turn the dial, when you say 'Set FL370'. Nice touch.Next time I buy a new A/C addon, I better make sure it is supported by FS2Crew !PeterSAS1376
  9. Benny,You're the MAN. :( I was releasing the brakes, but not actually saying "brakes released". Missed that in the manual :( .Thanks a lot.Peter
  10. Hi Bryan,I have made two more flights in different airports, same problem. I don't have AES.One strange thing happened, though:I am waiting (as described previously) for the pushback to happen. Then I say: "STOP PUSHBACK", and the pushback begins ! Go figure.... . When I say "STOP PUSHBACK" again, it stops. Did that on two occasions. I guess it is kind of a workaround....Best regards,Peter
  11. Hi Bryan,FS9. And yes, Pushback Req is set to yes.Could it be scenery dependant ?I'll try another airport to see.Peter
  12. Hi,Made quite a few successful flights now - amazingly the FO does most of what I ask :( ...I have an issue with the ground crew, though.Pushback is enabled in the config panel. Before start check is completed.I say: "Cockpit to ground", reply: "What can we do for you?""We're ready for the pushback and engine start", reply: "OK, release parking brakes"Parking brakes released. Then nothing happens. I have seen the pushback happen one time, but I can't remember what was different.Running out of patience, I push back using slew or Maddog control panel, and then proceed to the engine start.Any clue to what part I am missing for the pushback to happen ?:( Peter SAS1376
  13. I know, I'm a complex dude...3. This was useful to know. I managed to complete a flight with the FO most of the way, however, before the descent checklist, she fell asleep, and didn't wake up again. Probably some call I missed. Thanks for the reply - don't get me wrong. it's a really cool add-on ! Peter
  14. HAHA that's a good one. What I meant was, is the missing greeting indicative of a problem, and will he then stay silent throughout ? Because if that is the case, I might as well restart the whole system now rather than wait for a long time just to find out there is a problem. On the headset: I realise not all sounds go through there. But if I hear the FO in the speakers, and I want swithch him/her to the headset, I should be able to switch it in the FS2CREW config panel, right ? I mean, I am changing back and forth between the two sound cards, but the FO stays in the speakers once he has started there. Does the audio device have to be selected once and for all at the beginning - or ?It would be nice if you could indicate what is normal behaviour, like:FO only greets sometimes, not always (true/false)You can change audio device on the go (true/false)If the FO doesn't reply, start over (true/false)Thanks,Peter
  15. Hello there,Bought FS2CREW for Maddog recently, and I have yet to complete a flight. Looks and feels brilliant though. Two main issues:1. Headset.I use a USB headset in addition to the regular speakers. On the FS2CREW config I have chosen the USB headset, and I have pressed the HS button, but the sound still appears in the speakers.I have tried maybe 5-6 times total, and one time it was OK, other times the voice was in the speakers. Cannot find out what I did differently, when it worked ?2. FO doesn't say anything, just goes to work.Quite rude, he doesn't even ask me how my day is .... I have seen other people in the forum mention this, so I will study the posts more for an answer, it ssems to be a common problem.Using:Maddog 2008FS9WinXPLatest MS SAPIPeter, SAS1376
