September 15, 201015 yr Hi,Made quite a few successful flights now - amazingly the FO does most of what I ask :( ...I have an issue with the ground crew, though.Pushback is enabled in the config panel. Before start check is completed.I say: "Cockpit to ground", reply: "What can we do for you?""We're ready for the pushback and engine start", reply: "OK, release parking brakes"Parking brakes released. Then nothing happens. I have seen the pushback happen one time, but I can't remember what was different.Running out of patience, I push back using slew or Maddog control panel, and then proceed to the engine start.Any clue to what part I am missing for the pushback to happen ?:( Peter SAS1376

If he's far away, he has to drive there and it can take a few minutes. Also ensure Pushback Req on the FS2Crew Config Panel is set to Yes.Cheers, B. September 16, 201015 yr Author Hi Bryan,FS9. And yes, Pushback Req is set to yes.Could it be scenery dependant ?I'll try another airport to see.Peter
September 16, 201015 yr Commercial Member Hi Bryan,FS9. And yes, Pushback Req is set to yes.Could it be scenery dependant ?I'll try another airport to see.PeterPeter,Try to do it at different airport in China or something to rule out any 3rd party conflict (AES or whatever it could be).Cheers, B. September 19, 201015 yr Author Hi Bryan,I have made two more flights in different airports, same problem. I don't have AES.One strange thing happened, though:I am waiting (as described previously) for the pushback to happen. Then I say: "STOP PUSHBACK", and the pushback begins ! Go figure.... . When I say "STOP PUSHBACK" again, it stops. Did that on two occasions. I guess it is kind of a workaround....Best regards,Peter

September 28, 201015 yr Hi guys, just to kick in on this...I normally don't use the FS2CREW push as I've already hired my own AES pushback crew :( but tried the built in pushback, right now.My question is, after the Ramp Agent states "Release Brakes" do you yourself call "Brakes Released" as stated in the manual? Simply releasing the brakes won't help as FS2CREW is waiting for your voice command...just tried it as I couldn't find out of your post, Peter, if you're using the voice command or only release the brakes.Greets, Benny
October 6, 201015 yr Author Benny,You're the MAN. :( I was releasing the brakes, but not actually saying "brakes released". Missed that in the manual :( .Thanks a lot.Peter
October 7, 201015 yr Hi Peter, great it helped...that item was simply missing from your description :( .
