  1. Hi Veeray,I did mention in my post that I didn't delete the file, just renamed it.That way it is easy to revert back to the old settings if anything goes wrong.I did infact change it back to the it's original name after an unrelated program which shared that .dll was affected.Mike
  2. I found this link to a forum for those who like suffered form the dreaded FATAL CRASH ERROR in FSXhttp://social.answer...42-146414087ec5It worked for meMike
  3. Hi Craig and Jeff, Thanks for the input, I think I have found the solution. Firstly I tried Craig's suggestion and loaded a stock Boeing 737, recorded three different flights and put them together , you can see the result here: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=dMePdSLXlyY Secondly I Googled the problem and found the answer on a forum that I already belong to : http://social.answer...42-146414087ec5 it seems that the problem is rife. In essence, it's all to do with uiautomationcore.dll which is found in C:\Windows\System32 & C:\Windows\SysWOW64 All you do is delete these two .dll's (I just renamed them .dlx just in case it all went ** up) and so far it has worked, I tried recording some third-party aircraft and hey presto! I also found a useful little app for changing permissions on files if cant delete them http://www.askvg.com...-windows-vista/Regards,Mike
  4. Anyone else having trouble with FS Recorder? It used to work OK but now if I try to playback a recording it crashes FSX with a fatal error. :( I have re-installed it several times, but no good. I'm trying to do some formation flying and unless anyone has a better way of doing it, I'm all ears.Mike
  5. Thanks Loyd,Looking a lot better now, just had a flight from RAF Valley in a Hawk up the coast and inland to the Lakes. Stunning scenery @ 800ft through the valleys.Back down the coast to Valley for tea and medals :( Mike
  6. Once again I have been proven right, Avsim is the best forum on the net. Thanks to all of the advice I have found on these pages, I have finally got TileProxy to work :( just a few more tweaks and I'll be as happy as a pig in ess aitch one tea :(
  7. I think I have found out the answer myself, I had a Trojan virus on my system which McAfee didn't stop. :( Once it was removed by Malwarebytes all works fine now :(
  8. I have made a few videos but have one or two issues. FSRecorder often causes a fatal crash error when trying to Play as Traffic and record a new file. I have no trouble with the editing the captured video, but Movie Maker Live crashes after a video has been saved once?? don't ask me why. I also have Magix Movie Edit Pro but again that is unreliable. Maybe its because I'm running Win7 64bit I don't know, I have heard it can cause problems.Anyone else out in simworld had these problems?Mike
  9. I am so glad I found this forum, the best I've found so far.

All the tweaks & tips I've found from other members have improved my FSX exponentially.

FPS from a pathetic 10 on average to 50-60fps and so smooth. Thanks to all who have helped.

  10. Should be OK, might be worth backing up your fsx.cfg ( just incase you have made changes to it ), and reinstalling FSX over the top of the old one so as to keep your registry up to date.
  11. I had the exact same problem earlier this year using Vista, it seems to be a problem with file associations.Couldn't fix the problem, did a complete format and installed Win 7.Sorry I can't suggest anything better.Mike
  12. I had booster installed and found no appreciable inprovement but when version 2.2 came out and I installed it the program would not even load. Error comes up "cannot get internet connection, blocked by firewall" , well sorry mate, my firewall is set up to allow connection! :angry:FSPS support is next to useless :Bring It On:ps FSPS Multicore Environment Advanced is crap also.
  13. Just thought I would post a test movie I made :( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HYaU5rxaoSE Comments welcome
