I just reinstalled the FSL A320 and am getting crashes to desktop after loading it. I knew of a solution in the past but I cannot remember it anymore. I would very much appreciate any help with that. Best Bernd

I was afraid you would say this. Is there a clean way to uninstall , with Windows apps utility, any othere files? Can I delete the P3 filefolder ProgramData I have on C? Anything in the registry? Thanks so much for your help. Bernd

I uninstalled the client and then downloaded the full version of P3, incl hotfix and installed it unfortunately on the C drive which is the default location but not the location the previous version was in which was on the D drive. I then uuinstalled the client again and installed the full version this time on the D drive but I guess it was too late. Is there anything I can do to avoid having to delete everything and start over - I have so many addons. Just my stupid mistake. Thanks

Thanks, I deleted the scenery.cfg file and am getting now:could not find scenery area 001's local scenery directory :scenery\world\scenery. Would you like to unload this scenery? Do you have any suggestions, Thanks!!

What does it mean when it says there is currently no NDBs in the dataset? I reinstalled now several times and it says it was successful but I am still getting this error and P3 does not start. Thx Bernd

You are exactly right Gerald, I have Program data file folder too and there are eg sceneries in it too. What did you do to fix it? I am looking forward to your solution. Best Bernd

OS is in German, but P3 used to work great before the hotfix. Best Bernd

One more thing, I just checked the apps in Windows delete function and saw that I have Prepar3Dv4 Academic with 40gb as well as Prepar3dv4 Academic client with 589mb. Do I need both? Thanks Bernd

Maybe this has been answered but here is my problem: I originally installed P3 in D:\P3v4.5. I then updated the hotfix but missed to install it into D:\P3v4.5 but installed it by mistake into the standard location on my c dirve. The P3.exe as well as all scenery files are on the d drive while the scenery.cfg file is on the c drive location. The is no P3.exe file on the c drive. When I start P3 from the d drive I am getting the message mentioned above that there is not airport, vor etc. Is there any way to delete P3 which is on my c drive if that helps? Thanks so much. So frustrated, I am getting now te same message again which I stated in the first note. The scenery file is in the same directory the new P3 installation is in which is on my d drive. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks so much Bernd

Thanks Gumerson, my scenery.cfg file is on my c drive although P3 is installed on the d drive. However, now I am missing my P3.exe file although I uninstalled P3 and reinstalled it again. It is still not there. I think I am losing it, lol. Best Bernd

Thank you so much. I tried to run FTX Central but P3 did not show up on the list of simulators although I have several products from them. All I see is XP11, FSX. I do not understand. Best Bernd

I just updated P3 4.5 with the HotFix and getting an error saying that P3 needs at least one airport, VOR , NDB etc and will now close. I tried to do a full install several time but it still does not work. I would very much appreciate any ideas. Thanks Bernd

I just added a 55 inch 4k TV screen to my setup. When I switch to the PC on the TV all I see is the PC background on the TV and not eg the moving P3 screen which I see on the PC monitor. Any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks so much Bernd

Hi, is it possible to open FMC etc on a second monitor and have it open when P3 starts? I do not want to have it open on a tablet, cell phone etc. Thanks Bernd

No I did not uninstall them. Also on their website it says that liveries are fine and nothing needs to be done with them except for the Virgin Atlantic which needed to be reinstalled. Thanks Bernd
