Good point. Would be interesting to hear from someone who used it and see what the comparison looks like. I am getting anywhere between 20 - 60 fps but if I open up some sub-panels on my 2nd monitor then fps go down and I can see some slight stuttering. Thanks Bernd

Hi Riccardo, I already have the OS on the SSD, I like it there because it takes me just about 10 seconds to boot. I like to copy all of FSX to the SSD without having to install FSX and all the add-ons again. Bernd

I have FSX installed on a regular drive and am thinking about getting a 500gb Solid State Drive on which I just want the operating system and FSX. As I have numerous add-ons on FSX I really don't want to reinstall everuthing again on the SSD. Does anyone know a way to transfer FSX with all its add-ons to the new drive in one step? I would appreciate any ideas you might have. BTW, I have Norton Ghost if that helps. Thanks Bernd Jablonka

Turned on DX 10, same bad frame rates around 8-12fps (NGX is way above 30). Here is my system: I7 running at 3.9 mghz 16gb ram GTX 480 OC Win 7, 64 bit Samsung 512 gb ssd (only OS and FSX on it) It is a shame because I really like the plane. Bernd

Just bought it and i love a lot about it but I have one major issue: while I am getting with all my other planes (incl. PMDG NGX) fps in the 30-50 range do I get with the DC 9 fps in the 8-13 range. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Bernd Jablonka

I bought the Airbus X in 2010 and have never been able to get the throttle to work on my Thrustmaster Hotas. I just reinstalled the newest version and have the same problems although I did all the solutions proposed. Hope the throttle works in the new version. Bernd Jablonka

I don't even get the red color, it just shuts down and reboots by itself. Very strangeBernd

After about 15-20 minutes of flying the systems just shuts down and reboots. Has happened now several times and only in FLIGHT. I have the newest drivers, I7 2600K, Nvidia GTX480, 16gb Ram. Any ideas would be appreciated.Bernd Jablonka

Hi, I have both cards and wonder if someone knows which has a better performance. I had the gtx in my old system (quad core) and got really lousy performance. Now on my new system (2600k OC ) with the ati card I am getting with all sliders to the max between 45 and 50fps. Do you think it would make a big difference if I would put the gtx into my new system. I would appreciate anyone's help. Bernd Jablonka

I followed the recommendations too. Very blurry. The screens are totally clear incl. the writing in then. Just the letters around the knobs and buttons are bad.Bernd Jablonka
