August 5, 201114 yr In the VC the description around buttons including the letters in the FMC are extremely unclear, like you are looking through glasses which are not made for you. The 2D panels are totally clear and sharp. I have a wide screen monitor at 1920x1080x32 res. Any ideas on what I can do?ThanksBernd Jablonka Bernd Jablonka I9 - 10900K, RTX 2080 ti, 2x 1tb SSD M2 NVMe, 3 tb SATA 3, 32gb DDR4, Asus Prime Z490-P Mainboard, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle
August 5, 201114 yr Yh for some reason there seems to be a problem with that, especially with myself, if i move my head with trackir it come back into focus. Really wierd :/ Chad Donoghue http://easyworldairlines.com
August 5, 201114 yr How does the VC look? Its very nice, lovely with TrackIR ! apart from some slight blur in the text but its not as bad as it sounds. Chad Donoghue http://easyworldairlines.com
August 5, 201114 yr It was the same for me, trying zooming in, and moving your head position back. That solved it for me.
August 5, 201114 yr Did you follow recommendations in the introduction? Yh i followed everything in the guide, just seems to be a slight blur with the text on the MCP. Chad Donoghue http://easyworldairlines.com
August 5, 201114 yr Author I followed the recommendations too. Very blurry. The screens are totally clear incl. the writing in then. Just the letters around the knobs and buttons are bad.Bernd Jablonka Bernd Jablonka I9 - 10900K, RTX 2080 ti, 2x 1tb SSD M2 NVMe, 3 tb SATA 3, 32gb DDR4, Asus Prime Z490-P Mainboard, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke and Bravo Throttle
August 5, 201114 yr Did you try the zoom and head position suggestion? Yh i tried this and it just seems to focus on zoom and then out focus when pulling out. I have double checked my config file (fsx.cfg) and everything is set accordingly. Chad Donoghue http://easyworldairlines.com
August 14, 201114 yr Chad, were you able to solve this issue? Still looking for a solution myself... cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
August 14, 201114 yr Commercial Member What have you set your video card to in terms of AA and AF? Perhaps increasing filtering would be beneficial. What you are probably seeing is either poor filtering, or something in your video card settings which is lowering the mip map level, or mip map quality. September 3, 201114 yr Old topic, but I just wanted to report back, that updating my nvidia drivers fixed the problem for me. Thanks for your help! cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
September 3, 201114 yr Don't know. The drivers were to old to set them up via nvidia inspector as described in the sticky made by Ryan in the general forum. I proceeded just as he said and everything turned out to be fine. I thank him as well. cheers, NiIs U.AMD 5800X3D | 32GB DDR4 RAM @ 3200MHz | RTX 4070 12GB @ 1920x1050px
