Well the OP complained of blurry ground textures, I am simply replying with the solution.

First of all, Anisotropic filtering should be set to 16x to eliminate blurring in the distance. I'm shocked no one brought this up this far into the discussion?

I fly primarily in the US, What do I need to do to get these stunning photorealistic resolutions with autogen on top?

Just fly on VATSim for realistic ATC - granted it's not full coverage all the time but when there is ATC online, it's a great experience.

Goodness Gracious, Great Balls of Fire! I used to be an avid FSX/P3D user.. but the last month I have been slowly building x-plane 10 to my expectations and WOW.. This simulator is the future, period. We absolutely need companies like orbx, pmdg and etc to jump on board!

I know of RealityXP - but are there any other options to explore, either freeware or payware? I'm dying for realistic GPS navigation in my Carenado birds.

You do not need to do that if you start P3D in Legacy Mode using Estonia.

FSEconomy is super fun - and supports XP, FSX, P3D etc.

So I have quite a few carenado planes, and only recently after discovering FSeconomy have I started REALLY flying them. On some of them equipped with the GNS 430 - how do I get into the moving map? I've been looking all over the manuals, etc..

Isn't that the point of the whole beta team? Not offending anyone but kinda makes you wonder.. No one on the beta team or PMDG was able to pick up on this bug which is caused by simply starting the plane from the C/D preset?

I have hundreds, if not a thousand, hours on VATSIM. However, for FSEconomy I have not flown online because 99% of the time there is no ATC at the small airfields I fly into.

Jskorna - refrain from commenting about p3d until you have fully used it. And to those idiots saying "oh prepar3d is still using the fsx code", they have the code in front of them, they've purchased it from Microsoft, so they OWN it now. What this means is they can completely revamp the code and make it 64bit, etc. They are slowly improving on it. Right now there is no comparison to FSX already, with the turbulence and wind effects on aircraft - all the naysayers are just way too focused on the EULA, yadda yadda.
