August 13, 201312 yr Excited to see what Lockheed has done with fsx. Sloped runways maybe? Idk. Haven't looked into it.. I'll find out soon though. Who knows maybe I'll start using it or maybe I will hate it and stick to what I know with FSX. Jerad Burns

August 13, 201312 yr ....unless you get all the graphic anomolies as I did (unable to open the ATC window, Kneeboard, etc), which I don't get with FSX, and which rendered the P3D installers an expensive ornament on my Hard Drive :( ATI user, so probably connected to that!
August 14, 201312 yr Nothing? I assure you there are so many things p3d offers over FSX, and if you don't believe that then you are naive. For one, it is super stable. That's all that needs to be said about it. I love flying pay ware and not having to worry if my sim will crash on final into a very busy airport on vatsim. Most of the p3d haters are those who are upset they missed the bandwagon or are getting their panties in a bunch over "licensing". David Garrison
August 14, 201312 yr For one, my FSX doesn't crash, ever. For two, I can use ALL my FSX add-ons without jumping through hoops. For three, I could care less about the minor differences between FSX and P3D. For four, I could purchase P3D tomorrow and be in compliance with the EULA. Wonder how many others can say that?
August 14, 201312 yr I wouldn't count p3d out yet. It has built in omnimap api support which allows for you to easily map and curve video output for those who want to setup a curve screen >120 fov http://www.prepar3d.com/case-studies/a-c-e-s-flight-simulation-and-lockheed-martins-prepar3d/ Soarbywire - Avionics Engineering

August 14, 201312 yr I think he would be thrilled with Sublogic Flight Simulator V1.0 Only if you can get it to me.
August 15, 201312 yr Author Can't use P3D... It doesn't support PMDG products which is a huge loss. However, I love it and it is better than FSX. I did a flight with Airbus X Extended and it just felt so right!I just need to be able to use my PMDG planes. When FSL releases their A320 maybe I will fly that with P3D because its going to have shared cockpit features that only work in Prepar3d. But until then, FSX = PMDG. Jerad Burns

August 15, 201312 yr Dude, PMDG works in P3D. Like someone else said, P3D is like FSX SP3, so why shouldn't he use it...
