  1. Let's hope that's not the case. Light pollution bouncing off the clouds is actually pretty useful in nighttime flying and it is part of the whole urban atmosphere.
  2. So, has anyone seen any shore or sea/reefs in-game, like what we saw in the trailers? And I am asking this question, because I haven't seen anything like this in the beta videos/testing. This beautiful small video shows what I am talking about and you can also see reefs and underwater textures/imagery in other trailers published by microsoft. There is transparency that doesn't exist in the beta. https://streamable.com/bgpd8 I am a little bit concerned (and i hope that's not the case on release) , that there is a very intense "filter" or lack of transparency whatsoever in coastal areas. From what I've seen, there are two main "filters" for satellite imagery. The first one, is a "mask" for every single road and the other one is for the coastal/sea boundaries and lakes/rivers. The result is something very different from what we saw in the trailers and the tech videos. For example (image below) ,in an area were there are excessive turquoise waters and reefs, with very distinct textures below, the mask has no transparency and makes the scene totally different and "murky" looking. I hope this gets resolved as the release comes closer or soon after that. It's such a shame to not be able to see the beauty of the Carribean, Bahamas, Greek islands, Hawaii, Oceania islands etc.
